This is just a factory!!! Another friend and I brought our friend, who is quite il with pulmonary fibrosis and on oxygen 24/7, for an eye exam. The front desk staff was rude, nonchalant and insensitive - made no effort whatsoever to help get the wheelchair to us. By phone, we had been assured that our friend would taken in to for care immediately after arrival to speed her through in the hopes that we would not need to change oxygen tanks- that had all been explained to them by a nurse. But , my friend had to wait 15 minutes before a technician came to test her and the tech made no effort to be encouraging to my friend - did nothing to ease her physical discomfort during the testing - never verbally said a word of encouragement. She had her lists of tasks and that was all she was interested in. The Doctor had his script - totally ignored the pulmonary fibrosis - "Well, check with your PC and Pulmonary doctor and then went right back to babbling about the cataract surgical procedure as if it was a a done deal. Tried to get her to sign the consent form , but she refused. All he was interested in was another Medicare and Blue Cross reimbursement. The doctor's assistant was the ONLY staff person who made any effort to connect with my friend and myself as human beings. She was gracious and thoughtful and went the extra mile.

I have been going here for years and the doctors and their assistants are great. But I wait over an hour every time I go. The office is always jammed with people waiting and so I don’t know if they fall behind regularly or overbook themselves. But it’s hard to take time off of work for an appointment and then wait 90 min to see the doctor. Other than the wait times, I’ve always received good care.
