I had gallstones blocking my liver (can be life threatening ) He was supposed to do a procedure called an ERCP to remove the gallstones at Marlborough Hospital . When I went for the ERCP they put me under with general anesthesia . When I woke up they told me he wasn't able to do the ERCP ( due to his incompetency ) . They sent me to UMass and this doctor was able to do the ERCP . He was excellent .

I had him at Leonard Morse Hospital as Gastro Dr for my third and worst bout of colitis April 2017. He did a colonoscopy second day I was there. I had had a catscan with contrast nite before also. He talked with me abt the results in at a followup visit at his office in great detail and answered every question I had. I am extremely çonfused about the totally opposite reviews on here as I thought he was great. I had no complaints and I am not one that is easy to please. I had a specialized catscan in July 2017 which prior Dr never mentioned doing . Dr Aziz gave me a clear picture of what wld hv to happen if I had another colitis attack. I have not to date. I did call his office just now as I need an appt but no one answered!! Which IS VERY ODD. Going to try again

Idiot. Doesn't get back to patients and only wants money. He had yet to give a diagnosis for the past 6 months, and then can't decide if surgery is needed, or to just take stool softers. Asked about a condition that doesnt exsist, and looks at the wrong file when talking to patients. Incompetent to say the least.

Kept me waiting on the table for colonoscopy for over an hour. Was abrupt. Was dismissive of my concerned. When I asked about disease prevention options offered no recommendation. Questioned why I didn't just have surgery and then dismissed my questions and concerns about surgery.

Here I am two years after my previous Review. Went to PCP and then back to Dr.Aziz. Symptoms different and needed answers. Easier time getting an appointment, more helpful Office Staff and new testing. Great bedside manner and good listener. A great Doctor and I truly trust him.

Waited 90 min after scheduled appt. Still 7 more in front of me that had been waiting for hours. Won't be back.

Dr.Aziz saved my life! After months of pain and many trips to a different Gastrointestinal Doctor who failed at helping me, I saw Dr. Aziz. He evaluated me, ran 1 test, found the problem, treated it, and BOOM!, I immediately felt better. This man is caring and amazing! I rate him with a thousand stars!
