List of Russell Donnelly's Reviews
My visit was an emergency as I had broken the top of my femur. I have only three little scars. My incisions have healed rapidly and I am recovering quickly at age 74. I consider myself very lucky to have had Dr. Donnelly attend to my break. He’s a very quiet unassuming man, but I feel he has done exceptional job and I am very grateful to him
I saw Dr Donnelly yesterday and went to shake his hand and never aknowledged me not very friendly and he wasn't very concerned even though he never gave an accurate answer about the fluid in my knee that is bothering me he recommends pt we will see if he is right
He told me to keep walking on my foot when I was in excruciating pain. His diagnosis was a simple sprain. UMASS MRI: fracture and bone edema. Shame on this SCAMMER! He is the worst doctor.
Having read the terrible reviews, I still went to see him because I needed to have an xray asap. I sprained my ankle and the pain is unbearable which is NOT usual for a basic sprain. Several red flags during the examination: 1- he didn’t even bother comparing my injured ankle To the other 2- didn’t throughly examine my ankle 3- didn’t even say hello or anything “humanly” when he entered the exam room 4- he told me weight bearing was ok! I am in excruciating pain. He didn’t even ask for an MRI. I probably have torn ligaments and nerves and if I step on it, things will get worse. And, an operation will be needed. I had 4 ankle operations in the past and I have seen at least 10 orthopedic surgeons. I can tell that he is the worst of worst. Do not ever ever see him for something serious. I found a reputable doctor and Will see him next week. He is a BUTCHER! He does not care for patients. Find another doctor if you have time and resources. His license should be revoked
I was very pleased with my experience at Harrington Physician Services with Dr. Russell D Donnelly and his assistant Teresa as well as his staff Karla,Kristen and Patricia. This time My first time at Harrington Physician Services was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all the other employees of the Harrington Physician Services made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left, then you can believe they are the best. A big thank you to all of them.”
I don’t normally listen to reviews, so I scheduled a visit, I wouldn’t waste your time or the Co-Pay here, there are better options available. The Doc had nothing nice to say, never really said anything about my knee, Should have taken the reviews more seriously.
THE BUTCHER!!! Worst Doctor I have ever met. He did a total hip replacement and left my leg 1 1/2 inches too long. Nurses were shocked at what my wound looked like . I am totally disfigured. He does not care about his patients. We are just a $ to this Man. Highly recommended not using him as a Doctor because he shouldn’t be. My hip was done in 2010 and I still suffer with it. Had to have the other hip replaced. I did it in Boston and have never ever had a problem with it. BEWARE OF THIS BUTCHER!!!!!!!!
Simply the worst. He is an arrogant and zero bed side manner man. His hand was on the door knob for most of my visitsHe replaced my left hip at St. Vincent's. It was the worst experience I have ever had. The swelling and bruising were tremendous. My home care nurses couldn't believe what he had done to me. And the best part of all of it was that he made my leg longer than the other 18mm. I am also disfigured my scar is 8 inches long and completely sunken in. This was done in 2010 and I just recently stop having sutures coming through my skin. Then in 2012 I had my left hip replacement done with a new surgeon. It went so fantastic. I was walking and did PT the very next morning. I felt great. Needed very little pain med. my scar is 4in long and looks great. My new surgeon wasn't fully able to correct the leg length discrepancy. He was able to lengthen by 8mm. 18mm would have pushed to far. He then showed me the post-op X-ray. The butcher didn't sink the implant all the way down so it was sticking up causing the leg length discrepancy. I live in chronic pain with my right hip and feel nothing on the left. Try to sue a person for malpractice is so difficult. Dr's won't go against other Dr's because there Malpractice insurance goes up considerably if they go against another Dr. How sad is that. So once again the patient suffers for life. I can't even rate the man because in my book he would be -5. But I have to put something in that field so I have to do 1 but he doesn't even deserve that.
He patiently answered all questions posed in an understandable manner. He gave options for tx with pros and cons and supported my decision. He had a sense of humor and was down to earth. Thank you very much!
Wasn't happy with visit...ignored my complaint about what was going on..

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
