Doctor Barry Slitsky is an excellent doctor. He will explain & answer questions & concerns that his patients have.
Doctor Barry Slitsky is an excellent doctor. He is the type of doctor that makes you feel comfortable when asking questions. I have been his patient for many years. I had test results from my primary doctor that my primary was stumped by & did not have answers. Doctor Slitsky had some thoughts, ran some blood tests & bingo! I was diagnosed. What I have, many people go 20 + years without being diagnosed correctly with Doctor, I was diagnosed after my 1st visit. I totally trust him as my doctor. I have also had 3 colonoscopies done by him with zero pain.
Dr Slitzky was very professional and personable
Not good. I went in for my first ever colonoscopy. I went through the procedure , had 6 polyps removed. When I came to, the nurse had issues with me getting my blood pressure to a normal state. I thought nothing of it, and went on my way. For the following three days, I had no bowel movements. The forth day I had one, and along with it came 1/3 of the blood in my body. I had been bleeding internally for three days. I was light headed and incoherent. I went into hypovolemic shock. Almost died.
Excellent Doctor great bed side manor.
I have been a patient since 1992. Dr. Slitzky has always taken the time to listen to all my concerns no matter how small. I am still feeling great (at least concerning my PBC) and knowI have received the best care.
I don't like the fact that I am a current patient and called to get an appointment and explained to the receptionist that the bacteria was back and can't get anything until 27 October. Guess she has never experienced the pain or discomfort that I have try taking 600 ibuprofen but don't feel comfortable using that much not that it helps much. I am going to look for someone who cares or go to the emergency room Sure no one will be calling back or reading this anyway. Why is it that we always see the PA and not our own doctor
I got a note sent to my home saying that I could possibly have a life threatening illness and that I should do some procedures. It seemed very much an obvious attempt to push me into a procedure by sending a purposely fearful note to my house. I am shocked and hurt by this note.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
