Dr. Schalet was my PS for my breast cancer reconstructive surgery. I just can't say enough nice things about him. He's so calm and reassuring and caring. On top of that he is great surgeon, I had no complications and he came to see me in the hospital while I was recovering. He really does treat you like you are his only patient, even though he's constantly seeing patients or in surgery.
Spent $20,000 and didn’t do what I wanted U couldn’t even tell I had a face lift and it didn’t even look like I had a tummy tuck I complained and was told to come in well I live in SC and just can’t leave here to see Dr Schalet I who ever spoke to me was very rude I would not recommend the dr to anyone I got ripped off $20,000 I had both procedures done here in SC a great Dr and now I look great but more money spent Don’t Go to Dr Schalet had allot of fat tummy he said u need that to sit down
I have seen some plastic surgeons post photos of their work on various sites, and these are from some doctors that have 20 or more years experience in abdomninoplasty.Dr.Schalat gave me a more aesthetically pleasing result than I was expecting in a 'best case' scenario. The original consultation, I was given the option to consider a fleur de lis type of technique in order to get the best possible results, from my extra skin after losing 130 lbs by diet/excercise. I had never heard of this, and researched it online, and after consulting with the doctor again, i decided this would give me the best possible result.I was admittedly nervous about having the bi-lateral scar in addition to the tradtional bikini line one. And after surfing the web, many doctors showcasing their 'best work' on this type of procedure, was not very attractive, and I was sure that I just wanted to have this technique anyway,to rid myself of the unwanted skin, i was resolved myself to the fact that I would have a new stomach, but It probaly wouldnt look as good because of the additional and long incision.Im 26 years old, but i decided to get rid of as much extra skin as possible, even if that meant i wouldnt be showing off my new tummy to people because of the nature of the scars that were inevitable.Im currently about 6 weeks post-op, and I,nor my friends or family can believe how great this looks!...Not only did the doctor do an amazing job of making the lower inscion totally hidden under the skimpiest of panties, but my new belly button is perfect, it looks like it was always there--alot of times the belly button looks strange with a tummy tuck when its made too big---AND the best part is the incision going up my abdomen, and literally up to just under my breast bone, is perfectly inline, and is not raised, or have large indications that its even there. Since im still only 6 weeks out, and the scarring will only improve,it still looks almost invisible when I stand in the long mirror in just a bra and panties. You literally have to be within a couple feet to even see this scar----Kudos to this doctor! He changed my life, i never expected these amazing results! And even more to his talent, if you dont believe me, read any Doctor forum online about this specific type of tummy tuck---some doctors dont even perform it--and this is because the likeness of making this type of procedure look good, takes a doctor who has talent in the field of plastic surgery, not just performing a rudimentary tummy tuck. So I could not give higher commendations to Dr.Schalat at the Baystate plastic surgery group in Springfield MA. I dont care if you find a doctor with 15 years of 'expertise' in plastics, travel a distance or whatever-Dr.Schalat knows the artistry of plastic surgery, and at the end of the day, most people HAVE plastic surgery FOR that purpose--to love what they see!You wont regret using him as your doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
