I immediately felt very comfortable with Dr. Mason, she was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and listened to every word I had to say. She is the type of Physician I would want caring for myself and family members. You can just tell how much she cares for her patients and how she goes above and beyond for them.

I had my second appt with Dr. Holly Mason, Baystate Breast Surgeon on 8/18/17. She is an awesome doctor! She listens, she does the tests needed to diagnose your problem, she doesn't just rush to surgery, she is compassionate, she has humility (I have found that rare among specialists), if you have possible genetic markers she orders genetic testing too, and she cares enough to closely follow her patients! A rare gem of a surgeon who should be teaching surgical residents! ??????????

Dr. Mason was bright, compassionate and easy to talk with about my concerning situation. She had social skills! She did not "rush" to surgery. She told me about all of my other options. I was very glad I went to see her. I highly recommend her.

amazing professional took the time for ME and treated ME like a person not just a nother "patient" excellent care- I met with several DR's and when i met her I knew she would be the one to take care of me.

Person in charge of office appointments (nurse ?) in preparation for Dr. Mason... was very rude! I took too long to fill out paperwork (as per her opinion). She grabbed my paperwork and asked me the questions (on speed dial) so that she could get credit for getting me ready - on time - for Dr. Mason. A VERY RUDE PERSON!!!!! Not a good idea to keep her on staff!!!!

Another example of a great dr. who has chosen to give her office staff too much ' power'. One in particular, the office mgr/nurse has let it go to her head. When you are dx with cancer and fearful you dont need someone being bossy , domineering and condescending. Thats what she is. Too bad Dr Mason does not straighten her out. This is no walk in the park. I went 3 weeks ago for a consult and after getting a Load of that one, I decided to go elsewhere. WHO NEEDS THE EXTRA HEADACHE IN THIS SITUATIUON? There are other good surgeons who have courteous office satff. I didnt haVE TO LOOK FAR TO FIND ONE.
