Philip Moraitis's Online Review Report Card

Very thorough, competent and respectful provider!

I have been with Dr Moraitis for many years now. I get my 6 month checkups, have had cataract surgery, and he picked up my macular degeneration immediately and referred me to a specialist. I have nothing but very high praises for Dr Moraitis! There might be the typical long wait in the first waiting room, but the entire staff has always been friendly, efficient and professional. I feel I have always had the very best eye care here.

Dr. Philip Moraitis and his staff are very personable and caring. They answered any questions and explained every detail to the cataract surgery I had. They have written instructions, email reminders. Dr. Moraitis called me several hours after the cataract surgery to find out how I was doing and do I have any other questions. I highly recommend Dr. Moraitis.

First and last visit to this office. Dr. Moraitis very uninterested in doing a good eye exam...just went through the exam without giving any useful information on my eyesight concerns. Billing was totally messed up on both my bill and also my spouse who saw another doctor. Not impressed with his professionalism or the office staff in general.

This is the worst office I have ever dealt with. You spend a lot of time sitting in one waiting room after another. And when you have a complaint, no one wants to talk to you. Plus their billing dept is terrible to deal with.

I've received an eye exam from this practice. They were kind and attentive to my needs. Unfortunately there is not a large glasses selection. So today Aug 30, I call in asking for them to fax my information over to a place with a bigger selection, but the woman I spoke with on the phone was not very helpful, condescending, and rude. My blood pressure is high now after just getting off of the phone with her. I am disappointed because everything was fine until this phone call only moments ago. I work in a setting where I am the first person whom clients speak. It is so vital that because you are the exposure to the business you treat others with respect no matter the day you're having or a phone call you just got off of. I find it saddening that I can't give the practice as a whole 5 stars because of the woman who decided to act contrary to the high bar that the rest set.

Part of large medical group; expect the typical large medical office experience. Dr Moraitis is experienced, and I have never had a major problem here, including surgical procedures.
