Tashanna K. Myers's Online Review Report Card

Her entire office is kind and supportive. Dr Myers explains things in an accurate scientific way that I find reassuring. She is knowledgeable and kind.

Dr. Myers is amazing, she is so good at breaking things down and explaining things to her patients, helping us to make the most informed decision we can. She's an expert in her field and I couldn't be happier to be one of her patients, I fully trust her with my care.

Cold delivery and worst of all wrong diagnosis. Poor communicator, poor cancer knowledge and assessment.

Very knowledgeable about test results but she came off as blunt, insensitive, pessimistic, and cold. She said my mother was going to live 8-9 years with the treatment they’re recommending, she’s could have blood all over the table and die if surgery doesn’t go well, she’s gonna lose her hair. and this isn’t a vital organ for strength (it is for beauty, but still who says this?) BEFORE the official diagnosis of ovarian cancer. The saving grace was recommending a second opinion.

Misdiagnosed, get a second opinion on any diagnosis. I am not sure whether Tashanna is unethical or incompetent with how wrong she was on my diagnosis.

Get a second opinion from another hospital if Dr. Meyers gives you a cancer diagnosis. Second hospital made me cancer free with much less invasive procedures then Dr. Meyers said would be necessary.

Dr. Meyers is a very cold and clinical woman. Her unfeeling approach to explaining a diagnosis is traumatizing. I would say my experience with her was one of the worst days of my life. She looked at her computer the entire time and has little patience and no personality.

I was refered to Dr. Meyers for removal of large ovary mass and I couldn't be happier with my care from Dr. Meyers and her staff. I ended up needing a hysterectomy and after much discussion we agreed to try and save my other ovary to avoid starting menapause early. While in surgery she ran into some unanticipated issues and knowing how important it was to me that I try and keep one ovary, she called my husband from the OR and they discussed what was the best choice for me. Together they came to the conclusion save it and I'm very thankful that she takes the time to listen to her patients. To go even further, she called me at 10:00pm at night to discuss what they ended up finding once the surgery was started, and give me details of the surgery that my husband couldn't remember. I feel blessed to have had her and would reccomend her to anyone needing surgery for a mass or possible GYN cancer diagnosis. She's top notch!!
