Dr. Kamine was very attentive to all of my needs. I was nervous about my situation, and without revealing details, I can say that he really set me at ease.

Horrendous experience with this doctor! Mom was in ER, had CT scan. Before results and before surgery he tells us she has stage 3 colon cancer, while she is lying on gurney in the ER hallway. Really? You know that from glancing at a scan, and not knowing patient history? You even know what stage it is? He performed surgery, did a colostomy. I asked about the mass. He said he took a good bit of it out, but still some left behind. Fast forward a week. The sample...barely enough for pathology to complete analysis. The results....not cancer, diverticulitis. Did he relive her pain, yes. BUT, to tell someone they have cancer, while lying in ER hallway not knowing 100% what the real issue is, UNACCEPTABLE! When I asked him about this and the conflict in what he told me the night of surgery compared to what he told us later in the week about surgery, he spoke over me, wouldn’t listen nor would he answer questions. Bedside manor is despicable! If you can avoid having him as your surgeon, do!
