I feel that Dr Tran is a compassionate professional. Dr Tran is aware of his patients both as persons who may need accurate diagnosis and persons why may be dealing with cancer. I feel that I owe my life to his knowledge and his ability to find a way to assist me have a normal life.

Dr. Tran seemed okay, but when I needed to schedule a biopsy, I was told someone named Crissy or Cristy (I forget) took care of that. After leaving messages for her 3 times and getting no call back after one month, I left the practice and went to Richard Alexander at Bay State.

Dr Tran is a rip off co payments for a urine test i think that might be wrong very poor manners

Very knowledgeable, pleasant bedside manner. Highly recommend for any urological issues.

Not so great...I believe I have IC but still not sure. When your urinating 30 times a day it is physically, metally and emotionally debilitating. I was told that I would need Interstim (bladder pacemaker) or a new bladder and that they couldnt help me. I had the Interstim put in with no success. A year later still suffering and suicidal over all this, but to get to the point he was very standoffish and somewhat rude. Not very caring about what I was going through.

After my first examination by Dr. Tran, I questioned his scheduling for further testing that he had ordered. Dr. Tran then looked at me with angry face and said "I can give you the names of other doctors if your are not satisfied with me." I did not question his medical knowledge or his ability. I quickly found out he has a quick temper and that you don't question Dr. Tran. I may try other doctors in his office but I will not see him ever again.

Total misdiagnosis of failed bladder and sent me on my way and suck it up and learn to self cath and do so for the rest of your life. Found a thoughtful urologist at MGH who quickly determined that my failed bladder was neuro induced as a result of disk trauma. Nerves regenerated after 16 months and full normal urinanation function returned. 62 yr old male with no prior bladder or morbidity issues. Lazy diagnosis skills and awful bedside manner

My 74 yrs.pld father had prostate and bllader checked by dr.Tran.First time he told us in the office that my dad is fine,but next day dr.called another family memebr and tol her that my dad has prostate cancer.We were scared and upset .Later blood worked showed psi was normal and no cancer.We don't know if he has called a wring person or what happened .Second time my dad was left naked for 45min.waiying for dr.who was late.

Insisted my husband's issue was probably a sexually transmitted disease, although I have no issues, we both tested negative, and have been faithful. Did not take faithfulness into consideration, so this would have to be a very old infection. Diagnosed based on a questionnaire provided upon arrival, and--presumably--patient charts, although even this is in question since he was not aware we had already been tested for STDs, UTI, and which antibiotics had already been prescribed before my husband was referred to him, etc. Talked at us, not to us, and was not willing to even hear any input. To me, it felt like he was considering infidelity the only possibility, assuming in every marriage, one of the partners WILL be unfaithful. We left feeling almost attacked & as though our input was not valid or necessary. His attitude was that of "I know everything, you know nothing" and his treatments are based on what a majority of the population has, not tailored to individuals (e.g., "Most men with your symptoms have a STD, so we're going to treat you for a STD, but if that doesn't work, we'll try treating a urethral/bladder infection"). I wouldn't go to him again, just based on his "I don't care" attitude. He also did not ask about injury (my husband hit his groin during a fall recently, unbeknownst to the doctor because he was diagnosed without obtaining a full history). In addition, we encountered 2 receptionists (?) and 3 nurses, of which 1 nurse and 1 receptionist were friendly. The rest appeared to perhaps hate their jobs or lots in life.
