Aarti Kakkar's Online Review Report Card

I had high hopes for this doctor (based partially on the positive reviews), but my experience was a huge let down. She didn't show any interest in listening to my concerns or medical history. She ordered multiple expensive tests, that didn't get us any closer to a treatment or relief from my symptoms. Additionally, she suggested I take a risky medication that would counteract to intended effect of another medication I am on. There just isn't any logic in that. I get the sense that she is more interested in billables than actually treating patients and resolving their issues. Lastly, the billing department is a disaster. They submit claims incorrectly, lost payments and you can't actually get a person on the phone. This practice is such a headache to deal with.

She's a great doctor, but her office staff is terrible. They do not answer their phones - they are very difficult to get in touch with and when you finally do, they are very rude. Also they do not respond to messages on the patient portal. I really love Dr. Kakkar, but because of her office staff and the difficulty in communicating with her office, I am thinking of changing to another gastro doctor.

Dr. Kakkar is a sensitive and compassionate physician. She treats me with respect and kindness.

I had my yearly appointment with Dr. Aarti Kakkar this week. As always it was a pleasant experience. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful. There was no wait. The medical assistant was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. Dr. Kakkars very pleasant, professional manner combined with her expertise makes it a great experience.

Office staff was very efficient. Dr. Kakkar is a dedicated professional. She listened attentively and gave very clear, concise recommendations necessary to resolve my issues.

My experience was positive all around. I didn't have to wait too long, Covid-19 precautions were good, and Dr. Kakkar was attentive and professional.

My experience at Dr. Kakkar is always wonderful. I feel like she really knows how you feel and makes sure she looks into everything for you. She is one of the Best doctors in Massachusetts. Thank You Judy Newell
