Dr. Sandor and his team are wonderful. They are very kind and happy to answer any questions.

I was rushed to the hospital in March. After testing in the ER, Dr. Sandor met with me. He explained that I needed emergency surgery to remove my perforated colon (about 1 foot) and would be left with a colostomy for 3 months to allow my colon to heal. He knew I was scared and actually reached out to my PCP (who was on vacation) to call me. She did and assured me that I was in great hands. And I was. I feel blessed that Dr. Sandor was there. After 3 months, as promised, he performed the reversal surgery. Dr. Sandor is highly skilled, kind and patient. I am blessed and grateful for having Dr. Sandor care for me. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of specialized surgery. Thank you and I remain forever grateful.

Dr. Andras Sandor is AMAZING. He is professional, knowledgeable, caring and extremely kind. He knows how to address the medical issues contributing to one's health or lack of. His staff is sweet, efficient, supportive, helpful and very timely. I would HIGHLY recommend him. No one could have asked for a better surgeon. Very professional and very knowledgeable in his profession. We discussed all of my weight loss options. My bariatric surgery was a great success. Would recommend him to all my family and friends who have tried unsuccessfully to lose weight. Keep up the excellent work you are doing Dr. Sandor. Thank you to you and your staff. Amazing people, all of whom made me feel comfortable in reviewing my issue

Dr. Sandor was my surgeon. I recently had hernia surgery for a large hernia that I put off for about 10 years (that I shouldn’t have). Dr..Sandor and the entire surgical staff at Meltose Wakefield Hospital/surgical 3 did a great job in making me very comfortable and keeping my wife informed throughout the entire surgical procedure. I was pretty stressed out. As it was 3-1/2 of surgery! They were very professional and detail oriented from the nurses to the anesthesiologist to the nurse anesthetist . It’s been 4 weeks since my surgery and I am progressing well. As a person who grew up in Melrose and works in the community, I can recommend Dr. Sandor and Melrose Wakefield Hospital without hesitation. They have come along way in the last 10 years! It was my first time meeting Dr. Andras Sandor and staff, they were all such nice people. I had a ton of anxiety and they made me feel welcomed. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr Sandor was professional, courteous and extremely kind. My daughter is severely mentally challenged, deaf and legally blind. She was not a cooperative patient during her visit, but Dr Sandor was very patient. Most would be overwhelmed, but Dr Sandor was calm as he explained thoroughly the surgical procedure. His office staff was also very helpful.
