Curahealth Hospital Stoughton's Online Review Report Card

No stars .  A family member who beat covid after months on a ventilator was brought here to get respiratory therapy .  She was good when we got her here and since they NEVER move her from side to side or to a chair ( she's been bed ridden for 4 months , she cannot move herself due to no muscle , but the original hospital was fantastic and moved her all the time ).  She now has pneumonia.  Good job guys !! They gave her ensure but never opened it for her , again , no muscle , can barely move one arm . And when she rang for help they told her to stop crying wolf .  Admin is useless !!!!!  Do not let your family members be so called treated here .  Horrible !!  Then they put all her belongings out of reach , her phone , water , eye glasses , clicker and she buzzed for help and again they say nasty things to her about wanting attention.   Put her stuff back where it belongs .  Absurd !!! Terrible terrible place .

My sibling almost died there the place looks nice but the staff and CEO are no good. If they have good nurses there your able to count with one hand .Trust me you will not pass your 5 fingers.

This place was the most disgusting place to send anyone no help from nursing staff food was in Styrofoam plates wrapped in foil  you are giving no help at all if you have Loved Ones Please dont send them there

My dad was a rehab patient here for 2 months after a long battle with COVID. The building is run down with tiny rooms. The smoke from the outdoor smoking section would blow into the lobby. The nurses and doctors are so understaffed, they relied on nursing students to help out. There was some miscommunications between the doctors where one doctor would rely a message, but the other doctor said they never heard the message. Also miscommunications with the services the case worker told me would be available and what care dad actually received. I don't have experience with other rehab facilities to compare with, but I would say this facility wouldn't be my first choice (and it wasn't), but the staff do work hard. The problem lies in the hospital not willing to hire more help. I still give 3 stars because dad was able to get discharged, displaying much improvement after 2 months of care.

My son was there for 6 week THIS place is really bad!!!! Emily is unprofessional person and a Liar to him, she just worry about money and charged my son insurance $550,000, Now my son is home and him is telling me how the staff treated him so badly and you can’t imagine how he suffered in that place…..let me tell you a few of the abuse: one day a CNA came to my son’s bed and gave a sponge bath only with burning water and not soap.The food always was cold and he asked to heat it up and the staff said NO! And yell to him.And more and more problems everyday and also on weekends this place have music loud when the patient try to sleep after 10:00 p.m. on weekends also short staff….. and the over night staff taking loud, yelling and screaming like a party….. Don’t send anyone to that place..

I was a patient there...the staff and food was good, but they were always short staffed...you would press the nurses button and it took up to Twenty minutes sometimes for someone to come ..the nurses were so busy they were burning out

This place is absolutely the most dangerous place to send a love one!!!! Don't do it!! You are better off caring for them yourselves. They run the facility at a bare minimum. When patients and families say they had a negative experience they are NOT lying!!! They do not have a sufficient amount of staff to take care of these patients but yet they still increase their census. The nurse to patient ratio can go as far as 1:11 (or even 1:20)and that is illegal. These are acute care patients!!! The CEO and CMO do not care about your love ones. They sleep comfortable at night!! I tell you NO lie that if you see a positive review, its coming from the administrate staff in order to compensate for all the negative reviews. I'm just in awww of why this place isn't being shut down immediately. When things go wrong they blame it on their nurses and not due to the lack of staffing and equipment. We need to push for better laws/policy so places like this aren't able to manipulate the system to stay open. If you have a family member here ask questions!!! Start off by asking for their nurse to patient ratio!! I don't even want to give them 1 star!! NOTE: This is not a revenge review. This is pure empathy, heartache and anger about lack of quality care and well being of human begins!!!

After reading the reviews I was honestly afraid to send my Mother here . I tried everything to keep her from going . I was so beyond wrong . My beautiful Mother wouldn’t be alive today and on her way to rehab without the Cura Health team . When she came to Cura ,She was on a ventilator and a feeding tube at 57 years young due to Covid-19 . Within a week I heard my mother say “ I love you !” For the first time in nearly 7 months ! She was eating on her own and off the ventilator within two weeks ! She had been at another stoughton facility for three months with no progress and ended up in the ICU again with a collapsed lung due to neglect . Cura health and their team are amazing ! Everyone from Ashley and kaitlyn on the respiratory team , Nicole in PT and the Emily In case management, Lisa Gillis the patient advocate to the nurses and aids were nothing short of amazing . If you have someone with a respiratory issue , This is your place ! The CEO was super nice and would check in with mom daily to see how she felt and to see if there was something she needed . Dr. Larinc who is a pulmonologist was super observant with great bedside manor . Mom is sad to leave tomorrow and I completely understand why ! All of the people I mentioned have become a part of my family . Such a beautiful experience. I was afraid to send her and now , I am afraid for her to not be in your hands . Thank you, Cura Health ! Thank you for giving me my mom back ❤️

Frantz was a huge help in the transitioning process for my mother from BMC to Curahealth. Due to Covid the visiting hours are not ideal, but overall from visiting her 93% of the staff I dealt with were great and patient with my mother. There were a few that were a little hostile and just seemed to be there to get a paycheck. Don’t let the i tail rating steer you away from curahealth because that’s how I was at first but I’m happy with the treatment she received and the progress the hospital has helped her make

Worse place ever. Don't send anyone there. Short staff, they don't answer when you call them. Horrible food. They lie to you. I had to go everyday just to take care of him.
