Davis Bu's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Bu is a kind and patient practitioner. I have no complaints with his bedside manner or care. Please don't hesitate to trust him and his team. Although I deeply miss Dr. Bloor, Dr. Bu is competent and intelligent.

Dr. Bu listened to my concerns and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He speaks in terms that are easily understandable. He strikes a good medium between older and newer type doctors whereas he understands how to explain things while still listening to my feedback. He understands pain management and the steps it takes to get physically well again. I highly recommend Dr. Bu.

Nurse practitioners are dismissive. I threw my back out picking up a heavy barrel that was blocking the street. Immediately got shooting pain in upper back and knees. Tried to make appt online but it was more than a month out so I canceled it. A few weeks later I hurt my foot so I made another appt. This time I called so I could get earlier appt. While there the nurse practitioner, Margaret, completely dismissed my knee pain and refused to discuss it. I am stuck in the house because it is too painful to get up and down the stairs, and this witch couldn’t care less. She examined my toes but its my foot that is injured, not the stupid toes. She does not listen and treats you like you’re wasting her time. she obviously does not like her job. (The only good thing from that office visit was that she did prescribe an anti-inflammatory prescription, although this is more than an inflammation issue).

Dr. Bu is kind and listens to your health concerns carefully.

I am only giving 4 stars because Dr. Bu is an excellent doctor and always has been very professional and helpful with any health issues or concerns. If this wasn’t the case I would give 1 star. He is also my mom’s doctor and she agrees that he is great as well. The main issue is with his nursing staff. When I call for a question or concern, I am told I need to speak with one of them prior to making an appointment. I have now ran into numerous issues with the nurses being highly disrespectful and making unprofessional comments. Receptionists are also often rude. Next time I call I will refuse to speak to the nurses and will try to only request an appointment with Dr. Bu

I have been a patient of Dr. Bu for 2 years I haven’t had a bad experience with Dr. Bu. He has provided me with quality care thus far. The reception area of the medical center however is very rude and unprofessional. I was yelled at several times for speaking to low on the phone while trying to schedule an appointment and when calling my provider back and also yelled at for her not being able to find me in the system. When I complained I was later told that an answering service answers calls not hospital staff, but the woman who was rude to me was able to pull up my medical record, I have never known an answering service to have medical record access. In either case treating patients this rudely cannot be an acceptable practice. Although I am pleased with my Dr. this treatment will have me look elsewhere for medical care.

Dr Bu was my primary doctor until today. I guess I was wrong in my thinking that a doctors office mission is to treat sick people but that’s clearly not the deal here. You have to plan your sickness out 2 weeks in advance according to this doctors office. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE AS YOUR PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR.

PATIENTS BEWARE!! If I could give zero stars, I would. “Do you really think a disease on the other side of the planet can affect you?” “Sick? You’ll have to go to the urgent care or the hospital. We don’t see sick patients.” This place is a joke… and I’m pretty sure Bu looks up the answers on google, when asked basic questions.

Just called the office, staff very rude! I called this office 6 months ago and switched primary care for myself and daughters. When I called today to make an appointment for my daughters the lady told me they had no name in their system, and that I must of been mistaken, what? Really? She went on to tell me that dr Bu doesn’t see anyone under 18. Well my name was there so don’t understand why theirs wasn’t because I switched them the same time I registered. She spoke to me as if I was delusional, how can you you have people that work at a doctors office speak in that manner, she got me so upset!! Obviously you don’t like your job, or respect people, I’d be afraid to call this office, beware!!!

Dr. Bu is very professional, highly knowledgeable and extremely patient. He is very kind and gentle. He'd like to ask all your concerns and listen to you. He answers all your questions with proper instructions and explains all his decisions with you. BEST doctor! Blessings!
