Went for a follow-up visit. Waited 1 hour 20 mins and doctor was not at location yet. After waiting an hr in the exam room, I asked staff what the issue was. They told me doctor would be in the office in 20 mins. Waited 20 more mins, no doctor. I was referred to Dr. J from my primary eye doctor, after complications from cataract surgery. My first appt with this doctor was cancelled in Aug. Had to reschedule to her Boston office. Went to the Boston office and the appt was great - very thorough. Winchester is closer to me, so I wanted follow-up there. Very frustrating.

My vision was deteriorating. Dr. Jurkunas performed cataract surgeries and I can enjoy seeing the world with clarity again. Not only is Dr. Jurkunas a brilliant surgeon, she is also personable and patiently explains all findings on my chart. Dr. Jurkunas heads a team of Fellows and Medical Professionals who take their time with testing and explanations. The surgical team were terrific working together, explaining everything they were doing all through the prep stage. They were warm and reassuring throughout. Dr. Jurkunas is very definitely their role model. I’m very grateful to her and her team.

Dr. Jurkunas is very knowledgeable and took time to answer all of my questions. Her visual aids (models and pictures of my eye) were very helpful in her explanation of my Fuchs condition.
