Dr Hatton did an excellent job with my ptosis surgery. The procedure was quick and easy, the swelling and redness of my eye only lasted about a week and he provided great guidance for post-surgical care. Now a month later, even the scar is minimal and he let me know it Should be gone almost completely within 3-4 months.

He spent less than 5 minutes with me and barely looked at my eye. I saw him for a gritty eye and blurry eye sight. He felt a cyst by the tear duct and said that he couldn't do anything. When I asked him why my eye was gritty, he said "it's probably something else." Patients deserve better. Stay away from him. I am not sure how he is associated with MGH.

If you are looking for a doctor who will take time to talk with you and answer any questions, you will not find it here. Dr. Hatton never even turned around from his computer to speak to me. I found the whole experience upsetting. When completed he went back to his computer and said I could go. I walked out with a used piece of gauze in my hand. Not recommended.

Dr. Hatt0n performed Ptosis Repair on both eyes, Lesion Removal on one eye, Ectropion Repair on both eyes and Punctoplasty on both eyes.

Dr. Hatton was very professional, and at the same time warm and open in his relationship with me as a patient. He explained clearly what he would be doing, and what I could expect in the next period of time following the surgery.
