Peter Muz's Online Review Report Card

I have been visiting Dr. Muz for skin conditions for many years. One session that I will share is that I was in his office and he was examining my face. He then noticed a small area in the corner of my right eyelid. “What’s that ? We need to get you in to have that removed right away.” I knew nothing, didn’t notice a thing. He then left the room and placed a phone call to Dr Solky. He came back in the room and said Dr. Solky will see you Wednesday. (2days) I went to Dr. Solky’s office, he took one look and asked who found this spot? I told him Dr. Muz! Dr. Solky said “very astute, thank god because this type spreads very quickly.” From a spot that I couldn’t see to a three hour surgery to have it removed.

Dr. Muz walked in the room, quickly glanced and me and then said “is there anything wrong with you…. Medically I lead.” He then asked if he could look at my back and before I could say yes he had lifted up my shirt to exam by back and chest area- making me very uncomfortable. He then glanced at my face before saying “your face is close to normal and for some people close to normal is the best they can get.” This horrendous interaction aside and I came because I have painful dots on my eyes and the advice he gave me was “don’t touch them if they hurt. “ I walked out with an expensive bill, no solutions, and the worst doctor interaction I have ever experienced. DO NOT GO TO SEE DR. MUZ

Dr. Muz and the staff at AP Derm (Waltham) were prompt and professional. No delay waiting to be seen at the appointed time, and all of my concerns were fully addressed.

The front office and attending nurse were very pleasant but i found Dr. Moz dismissive, condescending, semi abrasive and disrespectful who had one foot out the door most of my 15 minute visit.. He represents one more ageist white man. I will never go back to this office.

Dr. Muz is very informative, professional, thorough, and helpful. We had been looking for a new dermatologist for a while, and I’m delighted we found him!

Dr. Muz impressed me as an extremely humane clinician. He introduced himself, dropping his mask briefly, so I could see what he looked like He was efficient and decisive in diagnosis and treatment Coincidence revealed many common interests in a brief conversation. He establishes rapport with patient immediately

Dr Muz has treated me over the last few years for all sorts of itchy scratchy things that have popped up on my body. He keeps his appointments on track and explains what he is doing, how and why he is doing it. When needed, he takes biopsies for testing and informs me of the results, non-cancerous so far.

I have been seeing Dr. Muz for about 15 years. 7 years ago he found a basal cell carcenoma on my back and removed it without pain or scaring. He is a highly competant professional who has my trust.

I am totally impressed with Dr. Muz, both his personality and his professionalism. And coming from a scaredy-cat like me, that's saying A LOT! I'll be his patient for life.
