List of Scott A. Siege's Reviews
I saw Dr. Siege for a short time period when my daughter (now 6) was younger. He wasn't a bad doctor, however I've received better care elsewhere. His staff was absolutely horrible (not all, but most)! I remember a time when we were stuck waiting in the exam room for several minutes (over an hour) and it was extremely hot in the practice, so I opened the door & one of the nurses shut it. I again opened it & she then returned, telling me that it must be closed to protect patient's privacy. I explained to her that for one, it was like 90° in the room, we were all literally sweating, so it made for a very uncomfortable wait & secondly, I have an anxiety disorder along with PTSD, so I felt uncomfortable with the door being closed for that long a time. I even offered to close it if the heat could be adjusted. I also reminded her that all patients see providers with the door closed once in the room, so that it wasn't violating anyone's privacy if our door was left opened, because I couldn't see or hear what was happening with any of the other patients or their families in other exam rooms. She continued to argue that the door must remain closed, so we actually ended up walking out of the practice & seeking care elsewhere. I have never before been treated so poorly & rudely by any staff of a medical practice, especially a pediatric facility! Another time, I threw a soiled diaper in the trash of the exam room, before learning that this wasn't allowed & the nurse reprimanded me for this in a very unprofessional, downright offensive manner. New Mom's & Dad's have enough on their plate, especially when they have sick little ones, so to make them feel bad when they're simply caring for their babies & children is completely unacceptable. Rules are rules, but there was no reason to be nasty about it! It's not as if I left a dirty diaper on the exam table or floor!!! Did they actually expect me to place a soiled diaper in my purse or diaper bag to take with me?? Unbelievable! If they simply emptied the wastebaskets frequently, this wouldn't be an issue...I doubt every single child seen has a bm in their diaper at the time of their appointment! After all, this is a pediatricians office anyhow, so isn't that to be expected? Maybe they should invest in a diaper genie to help control odors?
I hate having to leave such a poor review for a physician that I've brought my children to for over a decade; however, when we needed him the most he dropped the ball. Rather than taking what I was saying seriously regarding concerns about my child, he blew me off, which delayed us from receiving the help my daughter so desperately needed. Her health was at very serious risk and all I ever received from him were platitudes. It took a very scary incident which landed her in the ER to finally get the ball rolling. Never once did he even reach out to see how things were going or to offer an apology for his misguidance. I don't want other parents to end up in the same situation as me - trust your instinct and advocate for your children!
He just was just bad Dr. Any thing I asked him about it was like , don't ask questions just do what your told. He seems to follow a script. I told him that all kids are not the same . Never let him see my kid again.
Has been my children’s doctor since 2008 and I also have children with Disabilities and he has helped me in so many ways with getting services and really takes his time with your children yes sometimes the wait can be long but it’s totally worth it.
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I call I am on hold for at least for 20 minutes. if you are that short staffed how about you hire more people. just poor service.
Uhm...yea...I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this guy...absolutely horrible! Dr. Scott Siege is horrible.
I don't normally write reviews but after seeing the other reviews on this site, I had to. Dr. Seige is awesome. He explains everything in great detail, spends as much time as needed with my child, and always makes sure he's answered all my questions. I would absolutely recommend him to family and friends, infact, I've already recommended him to my sister whom is pregnant with her first child. His staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Waited for 45 mins to have Doctor see my child for a yearly physical. Was told by office staff he was with an infant and those take longer. When I told Dr Siege how long I had waited his response was " you shouldn't schedule at end of summer" wouldn't recommend this Dr to anyone
when a doctor finds out there is lead in your kids system and then waits till the next appt months later to tell you is kinda messed up.blames it on the nurses fault. Not cool. Pretty good doctor but very opinionated in his own way. Makes me wait long time in office like any doctor. breathing problems with my daughter and just sends her home thinking she's fine w/ inhalers instead of making sure we had a nebulizer. If only I chose new dr sooner maybe my kid wouldn't have so many health issues.
The worst doctor ever, he's to agresive with toddlers , complained that milk got on his pants because the bottle spilled on him by mis take 2 ltitle drops. Just awful then he refused to take M6 sons temperature because acording to him a high temperature doesn't Matter. 1 hour later I'm in the emergency room my son had a seizure from a high fever! I will never take my child back to him . He doesn't know what he's talking about. Very disappointed

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
