Horrible experience at OCB in Wareham. Been battling glaucoma for years. This office lacked the empathy and care I needed. The office manager of Dr. Moon I dealt with during an acute episode was condescending and inept so I went to a more compassionate facility. Hours very limited. I do NOT recommend this office to anyone.

Very nice office, and the staff were very helpful and kind. However, when I made the appointment, despite telling them I was having trouble with my contacts, they did not mention that they don't treat patients with contact, only found out when I was there for my appointment so I ended up having to leave and go somewhere else.

Had both eyes done .wow wonderful results 👍

Great service

OCB in the southeastern MA area is all about quickly getting as many patients through their system as they can. Crowded waiting area has chairs too close together in this time of covid-19. They could have called people from outside rather than having us wait for over an hour near each other. The techs are poorly trained, aren't careful taking measurement, and can't answer simple questions about their equipment and procedures. Dr. O'Connor made significant errors for a number of people I know, including not accurately determining ocular pressure, inappropriately rushing the timing of cataract surgery, not mentioning the availability of premium lenses, misdiagnosing an infection, and not properly answering or getting answers to the questions that I asked. I finally went to MEEI in Boston and the difference was night and day.

Dr. Moon is nice and thorough, hence the one star.The office STAFF, however, is rude. The corporation that controls them will NOT take cash for co-pays despite state law. One staff member told me, "This is my office and I set the rules. We don't take cash."Unfortunately, there are so few ophthalmologists in the Wareham area.

I had an appt on Wedneday at 3:30 and sat in a small office for almost an hour . Last week had an appt at the Sandwich office and sat there almost an hour too. I'm done with this place. My time is just as important as the Drs you know plus having my elderly mom in the waiting area waiting on me, that is just so wrong. Happy to say adios to them and found a wonderful new Dr . Thanks for nothing OCB

,Frist Appt. was cancelled because the Dr. was on vacation,so they made me another Appt. ,I get a call again that that had to be cancelled also,again they made another Appt.,for me so I show up,and guess what told that Appt.,also cancelled,so they wanted to make another Appt.,DONE WITH THIS PLACE..My time is important also..GO ELSEWHERE....

Dr Chan is professional and goes beyond any eye doctor I had seen. I was nearly blinded by cataracts and three doctors told me to wait. Dr Chan did both my eyes, no problems and was extremely attentive to my needs. I can see now! Thank goodness a friend referred me in her direction.

Avoid at all costs. Waited 2 months for an appt. and when I did finally get to see Dr. Chan, no one ever asked me why I needed to see an ophthalmologist in the first place. If they had they would have known I wasn't there to rule out cataracts but rather psoriasis and IF it was what was causing me to lose eyesight sometimes for days at a time. When I did try to explain my symptoms it was brushed off as 'irritation' and dry eye. Before I could say anything she hands me otc artificial tears, tells me to use compresses and come back in two months. What part of I've already been doing that for two years did you not hear? Oh that's right, you didn't ask and when I tried to tell you it didn't matter. My eyes aren't any better and I'd never go back to a physician who can't answer my questions but rather is more interested in running from patient to patient instead.
