Frederic M. Goldman's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Goldman has been my primary care physician for 10+ years, beginning when he was in a group practice. I then enthusiastically joined him when he opened his concierge practice, Wayland Personal Physicians. Two years ago my husband also joined the practice, with a number of serious health issues. Dr. Goldman is guiding us through these challenges by not only providing expert direct care, but also by coordinating with specialists on our care team. Dr. Goldman approaches all aspects of our care with compassion. He is very easy to talk to, and takes the time to listen. Our appointments sometimes last an hour. He is indeed available 24/7 and very responsive by phone and through an online patient portal. We have been able to get same-day appointments and have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. I am grateful to be able to put my trust in Dr. Goldman and highly recommend him and his congenial staff. This practice embodies what primary care should be. Marcy R

I recently switched from Mass. General to Dr. Goldman at WPP. Although my doctors at MGH were all competent, they were hampered by the MGH bureaucracy and tended to make decisions based on public policy rather than what was good for me individually. My first physical by Dr. Goldman was more than an hour vs. the 10-15 minute MGH standard. Personally, Dr. Goldman is highly competent and thorough, immediately available, and easy to talk to. Awesome doctor. Spends the time to thoroughly understand your life situation, not just your physical ailments. Extremely patient during exams. Answers every question. Up to speed on the latest relevant medical research for his practice. Very accessible. Makes himself available for calls.

I have a very complicated medical situation that requires a great deal of coordination with other doctors, hospitals and experts. Having Dr. Goldman as a PCP is lifesaving. Whenever I see a specialist, they ask me: "How did you get him?!" because of his stellar reputation Clearly a reputation well-earned. he is always available in an emergency andf easily accessible on a daily basis. He advocates for services that I need and comes up with creative solutions to institutional obstacles. The best!

Dr. Goldman has been my primary care provider for more than seven years. He has been the best doctor I have ever worked with. We followed him through three practices. He takes the time to learn all he can about our medical conditions and treats the entire person. He has a great bed-side manner. He enlists his patients to help in their own care to whatever extent they are capable. This makes following his advice very easy.
