Dr. Bassler and the staff are the best. You can ignore anything other than five star reviews. Patient for over 10 years.

When I read reviews of medical professionals, I tend to take them with a grain of salt. Doctors often bear the onus of sharing information that patients would rather not hear. Dr. Bassler appears to be comfortable with disappointing her patients, and if she were attentive and compassionate then maybe this would be an asset. However, Dr. Bassler is neither attentive nor is she compassionate. Please consider seeking a different provider if possible. This area has many top notch professionals who treat their patients with dignity and respect.

Dr. Bassler is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and kind.

This was a new doctor for us. I made an appointment three months in advance for my kids to get their annual checkup with Dr. Bassler. Two days before, she canceled and they couldn't schedule us in with her in time for my kids to get their proof of physical checkups into the schools (which are required for many kids sports activities). I could only see a nurse practitioner. Flash forward one month and my daughter needed to see a doctor for severe back pain. Again, couldn't get in to see Dr. Bassler and the nurse practitioner was booked out too. I want to mention that there is a front desk staffer who is awful. Asks no questions, offers no options. And when I asked her to provide me options or suggestions - she belts out at me "What do you want me to do? I looked around the schedule for you? If she's not available, she's not available." I called her on her attitude and told her that her job was to assist us - THEIR PATIENTS - to find the next best option should there be no available appointment. Recommend someone else, send us to Children's, offer SOME guidance? This is the rudest, worst-trained front office staff. They really don't care. We will be leaving without ever meeting Dr. Bassler but given her office staff, I'm not confident I want to.

So thorough

Dr. Bassler is very caring, supportive and respectful, as well as being an excellent diagnostician. I like that she takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly. She truly listens to my concerns and is not dismissive as my previous doctor was. She refers me to the a specialist when appropriate.

I brought my mother to her appointment in time. Unfortunately theDr. Bassler is not on time. My mother was in the room for over two hours??. No one ever said sorry for the wait she’s running late nothing! I had to ask several times what is going in. She’s either very thorough or totally incompetent. My thought is incompetence

My experience with Dr. Bassler has been positive. She called me on a Saturday to discuss test results with me. (I was expecting a call back on Monday.)

I was with Dr. Bassler for 10+ years. I was fond of her at the beginning but over the years grew to feel that being her patient was an inconvenience for her and her practice. Appointments required at least 6 months notice of which they'll cancel on you with little notice. The attitude of the office was pretty hostile! My RX was held hostage before with the office denying refills on a maintenance medication because my yearly appointment was cancelled... BY HER! It's a circus.
