I like my doctor, but the office staff and particularly the office manager, are rude. Office is poorly run. The atmosphere in there is like everyone is miserable to be at their job. No one smiles. They refused to give me the HPV vaccine, stating that they "weren't allowed" to do something that would be an out of pocket expense. (my insurance doesn't cover it and my doctor and I had agreed before hand that I could get it and just pay directly.) This is patently untrue, many medical offices provide self-pay services that aren't covered by insurance. When I asked the office manager where this policy came from or why, she couldn't tell me. Then proceeded to try to "administrator-splain" why I didn't need the vaccine. They rescheduled my annual physical (or scheduled in error) from my physician with a nurse practitioner. I would never consent to seeing an NP, and I am positive I booked this with my doctor when I had my physical last year. Then I got a letter that the NP was leaving, and they were rescheduling my appointment with a PA. No thank you. It's too bad because I like the doctor herself. But I will be getting a new PCP because of all of the above.

Great physicians, office staff very little costumer service. I get it, it's Wellesley but the ladies are rude. They ignore you if they are on computers, Hello! at least say someone will be with you shortly. The people who take your blood are also rude as well. It's not ever pleasant and they keep you waiting once they go on lunch, I've been forgotten twice in the room. There is a doctor's assistant named Stacey, she can be unprofessional at times. Do not insert your office drama around the patients and you cannot tell the patient you prefer one over another. The way she treated me, it was so uncomfortable. The staff show their frustration and are miserable. You leave emotionally sicker and confused.

I was a new patient with Dr Nicole Rue and she learned I was being treated for Lyme disease with long term antibiotics and said "she didn't approve". I was appalled and shocked. Really? You live in Lyme epidemic country. First, she is not a Lyme specialist and should not act like one. Second, she was ignorant of the government's National Registry Clearinghouse protocols for Lyme treatment and obviously had no clue that persistent infections and co-infections can require long term antibiotic treatment. If you want someone staying abreast of current science and standards of treatment, and knows what they don't know, stay away.
