I was recommended to Dr. Cooper for a second opinion with an issue concerning my back. My first impression of Dr. Cooper was warm, positive and completely friendly. He took the time to EXPLAIN in layman’s terms what was going on with my back, completely refuting the first prognosis. His bedside manner made me feel like I was talking to my family doctor, not someone I just met under these circumstances. Long story short, his diagnosis was spot on, his recommendation and procedure fixed my injury from a motor vehicle accident. I think the most important thing healthcare professionals sometimes forget is to empathetically listen to their patients. He made me feel like my injury was important to him. He is down to earth, extremely well versed in his discipline of medicine and I would highly recommend him to my family. Thank you for correcting my injury Dr. Cooper. I would also like to thank his office staff for all their help in setting up my appointments in a timely fashion. They made SEVERAL calls to check in on my progress after my surgery. This is nothing short of top notch! Absolute professionals.

Waited over an hour after my 2 months ago scheduled appointment and ended leaving without being seen! Front end staff horrible and didn't even care or show any compassion!!

Difficulty scheduling appoints, specially if urgent. Often seems uninterested in discussing issues, concerns, or fully answering questions and also tends to rush appointments. Worst of all is how very duplicitous he is, he'll feign concern for your injury and pain while treating you but place contradictory comments or even outright lies in his notes, presumably for the purpose of damaging ability to get approved for Disability.

I travelled 160miles one way and3 hours later and it was the best thing I did. His answers to my questions were answered so that I could understand everything about the trial procedure. I was treated in a very professional manner because where I come from I didn't and don't get anything even close to what I received. Thank you so much and look forward to seeing you again.
