List of Frederick U. Torio's Reviews
Surprised to see such negative reviews. My experiences with the good Doctor and staff has been positive and typical of what I would expect from any PCP office. He has always shown concern and care for any issue that is brought to his attention.
Dr. Torio is nice but the office is HORRIBLE. Call after call to get a life saving medication and they cannot refill a prescription that I am already taking. I may have to end up at the ER just to get the medication.
This is my first visit to Dr. Frederick Torio as my new Primary Care Physician. He is caring, friendly and a very concerning individual. I felt like he really cared about me and any medical issues I had. He wanted me to be healthy. He ask questions that made me want to share. I am proud to say that he will now be my new Primary Care doctor.
He and his staff were the most incompetent, and completely UNcaring. I highly recommend u look elsewhere
I've been trying to get my prescription filled for two weeks. I've made 3 requests so far. Bethany was quite rude and curt with me, I started the conversation with " I've been trying to get this filled for two weeks, and she immediately cut me off, and asked me to hold. She didn't come back to the phone for 6 minutes. She said that her system was down, and had an attitude that was unexpected and unnecessary. She then told me that Dr. Torio has the requests and hasn't reviewed them yet. It's been two weeks today.
Month after month I have to call in for a prescription. I start calling 10-12 days in advance because of how long it takes them to get it done. They will tell me that Dr. Torio has it and doesn’t sign it. I have to call them as they never returned the promised call. I can’t fathom if it was a life or death matter. I would recommend anyone just rubs some dirt on it versus ever calling this office.
Dr F Torio and his office have been terrible about returning phone calls, issuing updated orders based on reports they are sent regarding my father's care, responding to his care facility. It is difficult enough to have a parent suffering with dementia, but having to make call after call to the doctor's office having them promising a call back and never getting a call is appalling. You should be ashamed for the way you handle communication.
Excellent communication. Pro active with indicated tests. Takes time to explain any issues or concerns.
Today my husband and I waited 1+1/2 hours to see Dr. Torio. In the waiting room we were discussing how we never had to wait in our previous doctors office more than 5 minutes, unfortunately he retired. Although we were not happy to wait and the office should not book so close, he was well worth the wait. He talks to you, listens attentively, is very patient and explains tests he's ordering and why and explains everything very clearly, never rushes you if you have questions. He washes his hands before he examines you. We are very happy with him and will continue to have him as our PCP. After the office visit it was clear why we waited because he is so thorough but everyone's time is valuable and it does need to be fixed. I also think the wait would have been better if the office staff made us aware that he was behind and given an update on the length of waiting time. I would have given Dr. Torio 5 stars if I didn't have to wait so long.
My rating is more about the office staff than Dr. Torio. The wait time and scheduling of appointments is utterly ridiculous! I have waited over an hour and 30 minutes to see a doctor. The administration staff is understaffed as well as there is not enough health providers. Doctors have left the practice as well as nurses. Sadly, patients are looking elsewhere for providers. I don't recommend you choosing these providers. They don't care if you leave, because they can't handle it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
