Janet C. Kennedy's Online Review Report Card

This was my brother’s psychiatrist. This doctor has ruined my brother. She admittedly treated my brother for YEARS for an Illness she has now conceded was not her specialty. My brother has now regressed to an unrecognizable point, is manic beyond recognition, has tardive dyskinesia to the point that he looks like he is having constant seizures and is a complete wreck. He has fought so hard for his mental health, and this woman, whom he trusted, has done immeasurable damage. This dr refused to listen to our concerns and blamed his family for not getting along with him, not his mental illness and plethora of side effects from the ineffective medications she prescribing. She even argued with us that she saw nothing wrong with him as he is twitching and jerking and wringing his hands NON STOP, is actively psychotic and delusional in the chair across from her. I know providers are tough to find, but go elsewhere. Shame on you, Dr. Kennedy.

My experience as Dr. Kennedy's patient was a positive one. Dr. Kennedy is a compassionate physician. She is talented in applying her ability to listen and remember-a rare characteristic in modern medicine-with her obviously high intellect.Her care and overview were conscientious and supportive. In this field, understanding is a key component, and she spares no effort to know and to understand. That she is a lovely person also shines through. I can't imagine any patient not being helped by being under the care of Dr. Janet Kennedy.
