What to say? I had urinary issues and Dr Patel got 'em fixed. No pain.

Dr. Patel is nothing but amazing. I work as a career firefighter/paramedic and had taken part in a cancer screening through my department. During that screening it was noticed that I had a very large kidney stone. I had received a phone call at home stating to head straight to the ER for treatment. As a paramedic I knew that there wasn’t much that the ER was going to do for this type of issue. I had search for a urologist in my area. All doctors were booked out months away. Dr. Patel accepted me as a patient after explaining the issue and asked if I could come in for a consult in 2 days. After meeting with Dr. Patel at our first visit, he was nothing but spectacular. Dr. Patel was very professional and was able to explain everything that was happening and what his plan was for the issue. He was able to book me for surgery shortly after that appointment. After multiple surgeries over the course of a year I’m happy to say I am stone free. All the surgeries were conducted Dr. Patel at the Worcester Surgical Center. Dr. Pater was awesome from through the entire matter. My family was very pleased with him and how professional and comforting he was when he would call them with updates from the surgeries. With all that being said I couldn’t be any more happy with the experiences I had. I would recommend him to any patient. I work with a lot of doctors in my career and by far he is the best.

Dr. Patel is nothing but amazing. After a year of surgeries and visits, I am pleased how everything was handled. Dr. Patel was very professional and comforting through a kidney stone issue. He was able to explain every detail about every procedure and worked amazing with his staff. Dr. Patel definitely has his patients interest in mind and was able to present different options for treatments. I work as a paramedic and have worked with a lot of doctors over the years and I can honesty say that Dr. Patel is by far the best doctor I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

Absolutely great experience with Dr. Patel, his entire office and results of "Aquablation" surgery he performed at St. Vincent's Hospital (which also was very professional and supportive). I couldn't be more satisfied with their care. Dr. Patel - who's kind and understanding but frank and clear at all times - took me from total ignorance of an emergency caused by a very enlarged, benign prostate to catheterization and unsuccessful treatment with drugs to recommending of a new (breakthrough, I guess!) procedure that uses pressurized water to remove excess tissue. The operation that worked VERY well for me. After an overnight stay at the hospital my bladder \was functioning like a teen ager's in a week. It's been a little over a month and I've returned to all the activities I'd been missing - hitting golf balls, walking, birding - with no negative side effects. I feel very lucky and thankful to have a new lease on life and Ihighly recommend Dr. Patel, his office and the procedure to anyone in my situation.

Dr. Patel was extremely detailed in describing all of the options available to treat my condition and was very thorough throughout the runup to the surgery and during post op recovery. My wife and I were extremely confident in his abilities as well as those of the supporting staff at St V urology. He is young with a great level of energy tempered with the necessary experience and skills with the latest robotic surgery techniques. His beside manner is bar none the best I have seen in a long time from the medical profession - a truly welcome experience. I would confidently recommend him to anyone requiring urologic care.

I met Dr Patel about 8 months ago as a second opinion. I was very happy I was able to switch to him. Dr Patel was more professional and competent than most I've met, and his staff (5 stars). One day he called to explain a relatively new procedure (Aqua Ablation) that he thought would be right for me. I choose to go with the new procedure under his advisement and I'm very happy with the results. For those of you that need an Urologist Think young with enough of experience, professional and humorous with a great staff. A winning combination. Best Regards Joe C

In a word, Dr. Patel was fantastic! Admittedly, seeing a urologist can be very personal for obvious reasons but speaking with him was remarkably comforting. Dr. Patel was reassuring without seeming dismissive or inattentive to my concerns. The office staff were friendly and I was able to get on the schedule for a consultation in a reasonable amount of time. When I met with Dr. Patel I felt that he really listened to me as a patient. The procedure itself could not have gone any better: he was spot on with his description of the patient experience and recovery! 10//10!

Dr Patel was recommended by our primary care Lauryn Ciszek from day one meeting with his staff and assistant Joe Provost and Dr Patel I felt very comfortable at the first meeting. First medication was recommended and when that proved to be not enough aqua blation was recommended and the procedure being relatively new was a complete success. Would highly recommend Dr Patel and his wonderful staff .

Recently visited Dr. Patel. It was refreshing to be spoken to like a friend helping with an issue. Very straight forward, common language and very pleasant with a sense of humor also. Great visit overall.
