Dr Vinton is and excellent surgeon. He did my hip replacement at 79 years old. Was walking without a walker or cane in under two weeks, I had good pt people too. His whole staff are very friendly and helpful His right hand man Seth Diagnosed me when DR Vinton was away for several weeks. You wont get any better than these people.

Dr. Vinton came highly recommended and he was great. Answered all of my questions he has great communication skills along with good bed manners. I just had my right hip replaced after many years of pain. I am excited to improve my quality of and knew I couldn’t continue in the same path. He also clean up many bone spurs. Prior to the surgery I had little to no movement with my right hip. In short he changed my life ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Vinton . Next year I will get my left hip replaced

Dr. V has repaired my shoulder and worked on my knee, finally replacing it. While he tends to run behind at times, it is because he takes his time with each patient. His expertise and caring make him my top Ortho choice in Worcester.

At age 79 I had a left hip replacement procedure done by Dr. Vinton and his staff at the Shrewsbury Ambulatory Surgery Center. The procedure went as well as I could have hoped and my recovery has been even better. Within a week I was getting impatient with my walker and moved on with no desire to use a cane or crutch. The new hip feels like my own except that for the first time in several years I can twist to my left with no pain. I am able to now carry on with most activities including mowing the lawn and working, carefully, on my tennis and golf strokes. I am being careful when active but have to focus on that when on the move because I have no pain in my hip. I am grateful for the good work of Dr. Vinton and his staff.

From diagnosis, to treatment to surgery, Dr. Vinton is patient, understanding and explains details well to patients. My problem is with nursing care at St. Vs. While Dr. V may be chief of ortho there, the pain care I have had from St Vs staff is sub par. I awoke from sleep, out of my surgery meds, in pain, to have to ARGUE with a nurse to dispense meds Dr. V had called for. I have had 3 previous ...

It has been 1 1/2 yrs since my left hip was replaced. I still can't function like I did prior to hip problems. I wake up while sleeping due to the pain, can't walk my dogs, garden, or get to the bathroom in a timely manner. I stopped wearing shoes due to tripping constantly. I have done everything I was told to do and that if I did these things the pain would stop. What a bunch of BS!DO NOT USE YOU MAY REGRET IT. I have a had time to look at my health and need to apologize for this review! My right hip is great. I think the issue is flares due to high stress. The staff are fantastic. I have no excuse for for taking my anger out on another.

I'd made arrangements to have total hip replacement surgery with a local orth. surgeon. Then I heard about Dr. Vinton, who performs the surgery from an anterior approach (front of hip rather than posterior - which, among other issues, involves a much longer recovery period). No cutting of nerves, tendons, muscles, etc. You need more devices, i.e., raised toilet seat, shower chair, etc. I would highly recommend Dr. Vinton. Initial recovery time is 4 - 6 wks., but being faithful with the exercises, I could walk perfectly at 3 wks. No walker, no cane - nothing. If you have to choose your surgeon, call his office for a consult. He's the best. J. Iadarola

My visit was great. Nice office staff, very efficient and waiting time was under ten minutes. Dr. Vinton answered all my questions. His assistant Seth is great too. Would recommend them .

My Husband saw Dr. Vinton about 14 months ago for hip surgery. He had a 38 year old crush injury on his hip, a tractor ran him over. He was on a high dose of narcotics to deal with the pain. He had been told he would have to live with it. Then we met Dr. Vinton and he said he could help. We did not expect the surgery to make him 100 % better, but it gave him a great deal relief and he was able to get off of narcotics. He is an excellent surgeon.
