I just want to say I had to bring my mother , also known as my rock , my world to Saint Vincent's today to the ED , my mother was having a few complications I drove up to the Emergency room door, ran in and the very nice security guard assisted me right away , I explained the situation and he said he would get someone to help me right away , well he did , I wasn't able to catch his name I wish I did so I could thank him as well , but a nurse came out of a side door and assisted my mother , I was a little upset when they told me I could not go in with her ,but now that I have calmed down I understand their reasons. Damn ( covid) but anyway I gave my mom her insurance cards and pocketbook and asked the nurse what happens now ? What do I do ? This is my mom, I don't want to just leave her , she needs me , she reassured me she was in great hands , she got my mom out of the chilly night weather and came back out ,as she saw I was upset I couldn't be the support system I wanted to be, she gave me a number to call and asked for my number and told me she is good hands. My inner self was telling me different but what choice did I have ? Soooooo...... an hour later an ER nurse really called me back telling me some info . Also told me they were keeping her overnight to do more testing and they wanted to observe her more, also said they would call me back as long as I didn't mind if it was late , ( which i obviously didn't). Got another call from a nurse at approx 130 am on November 12th her name was latisha forgive me for the misspelling but she was wonderful, she was amazing actually, very professional polite and understanding. I want to give her a big THANK YOU ! You deserve a raise . Thank u for calling me and letting me know how my mother , my rock was doing . Your appreciated. Thank you Holly Gabrila Moms name Linda Drohan
Let me start by saying my stay at Worcester Medical Center was awful. I went in for a same day surgery procedure on 10/5/21. That team was amazing and the OR staff was great. When I got on The North unit after my surgery i remained on the unit for 3 hours before I was seen by a nurse. Which she stated she didn’t know I had arrived. I was in pain, drowsy from anesthesia and needed relief. Eventually a nurse named Linda made up for the entire team, she was amazing and took care of me..but the next day the poor care continued. All day I was not attended too, I had to reach out I did have a caring PCA who helped some with the experience, I have limited mobility due to incisions and sutures and I had to constantly ask for soap, towels and sanitary napkins. Call light rang for 30 minutes I understand the medical field is stressful and it can be quite busy. However Your patient statement is that you put patients first and are caring. I found that to not be true. One suggestion is take back the nurses you have striking and build your reputation back to a higher standard. Now every nurse, CNA, PCA is not bad I am just sharing the experience I had.
So, these nurses are wonderful. They are on strike to ensure patient care! Rest assured they make an hourly rate that is very fair, but how can you put a price on lives saved?! If your spouse, sibling, child, grandparent, friend is dying and they provide a safe passing to the other side? What is that worth? To me? More than I have in my bank account and yet priceless!
Hello, I have a lot of bills some of which I have sent for appeals to my insurance company. I need help in figuring out what I owe. I need to sit with someone in person to go over my bills. Does St Vincents have someone who can help me?Thank You Sue C
I'm here at the Emergency Room waiting to be seen. There was a nurse who LOVES to belittle, over talk, and yell at me while I am trying to explain to my daughter about the room and food situation. If one makes a statement that needs to be related to someone else no need to lie and scold me me like I am 2 years of age. This nurse in the emergency dept had seen a great nurse with my food she walked down hallway and said "U MUST BE KINDING FUCKING RIDICULOUS" this just made things worse and I was 2 seconds to walk out and go to UMASS and maybe treated better then here. this individual gives all the nurse a bad name. If she doesn't like her job she should elsewhere and treat people like they are her own children...
Saint Vincent Hospital is just horrible. I have been waiting more than 7 hours in the emergency room to see a doctor. I would highly recommend to everyone you don't come here.
Was just at the hospital to have emergency surgery to get kidney stones removed. The staff there was amazing. I want to give a special thank you to 2 amazing nurses Julie & Lori & to PCA Cynthia. It's a team like this that makes this hospital so amazing. Thank you to the team on 34 north.
Not only was I very un pleased with the staff at this hospital, but also with the supervisor. Both her and the staff is incredibly unprofessional and ignorant. I do NOT recommend coming here and getting treated. They judge you, and give dirty looks. This is also coming from a 16 year old HighSchool student. They miss treat their patients and visitors. How is this hospital still running?
Dr Russell cournoyer is the best foot surgeon I have ever had.i highly recommended him. Cheryl prouty
I am generally satisfied with St. V's. I really love my doctors. Couldn't ask for anyone better. My only complaint is the relatively new "high tech" parking arrangement. What a pain in the neck it is. The stupid swipe machine never works and you better hope that a human being is there to help you. Why can't the human beings just be there all the time as was the case previously when there was no issue leaving the hospital. Please consider getting rid of the dumb machines. Thank you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
