I went to Dr. Desio for a stress fracture. As a marathon runner who had just qualified for Boston I was pretty panicked and upset. Dr. Desio ensured I came back strong and smart and truly listened to my concerns. I can't recommend him enough for anyone with a sports injury!

Dr. Desio has done each of my shoulders multiple times because of different injuries. He is always completely thorough and compassionate. Dr. Desio's knowledge and experience is the reason for his success, and the reason I have gone back when necessary!

Dr. Desio has taken care of myself and my family members over the years with knee injuries. He has been compassionate, listening to our needs, and worked with us to get us back to sports and our passions. He performs excellent surgery with excellent results. We are very grateful for his hard work and attention to detail. We would highly recommend him!

Dr. Desio repaired my right shoulder rotator cuff last year and I had my left side done in February 2023. Both surgery’s went flawlessly, the procedure was well explained and everything went as expected, including a little more work while in there. We had a billing snafu with the hospital, Dr. Desio’s staff picked up on it and helped to resolve the issue. Dr. Desio is a cup half full person, very upbeat and caring to the patient as well as his staff, while I waited in preop at 6am, I heard Dr. Desio come in and greet everyone, again in a very upbeat, motivating person. Dr. D is just a great person who really knows his stuff! My right shoulder is perfect and the left will be there soon. Dr. D is well respected by the PT staff I have been working with, Thanks to Dr D and Staff for a great job all around.

Trying to get an appointment for dislocated shoulder follow up. Office staff was RUDE. Why would you have such rude people as your first point of contact with the practice? Not in the least bit helpful. Go elsewhere!!

Due to a fall resulting in pain in both my shoulders a friend referred me to Dr. Desio, so glad he did. Dr. Desio and his nurse practitioner, Lauren Gallant, were amazing. They explained in clear and professional terms my condition, the procedure and the expectation of recovery. They were available when needed. After excessive surgeries on both my left and right rotator cuffs I am happy to say that I am full recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Desio and his team.

Trust Dr Desio. I was a week away from shoulder surgery schedule by different doctor whom I actually liked a lot. I weighed my options and went for second opinion from Dr Desio and am eternally grateful that I saw and listened to Dr Desio. No surgery, but P T and patience. Please see him before you make any decisions.
