I can always count on positive vibes and empathetic ears.
I get my yearly full body scan here. I feel comfortable, and confident that my health is in good hands.
I recently visited this dermatology office to schedule an appointment for a minor procedure (mole removal), as it is conveniently located near a salon I frequent. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk receptionist was very disappointing. When I asked to book an appointment, I was first asked about my insurance. After I provided the information, I was told they might not accept it. I then offered to pay out of pocket, but was told that wouldn’t be possible because I have insurance, which was confusing. The conversation became more unclear when I was asked whether my insurance was through the “Marketplace,” without any explanation of why that was relevant. ( I don’t even know what that was). As a patient, I found this line of questioning confusing and unnecessary, especially since I was simply trying to schedule an appointment and was willing to pay out of pocket if needed. After some back-and-forth, the appointment was eventually scheduled, but the process felt unnecessarily complicated and, at times, dismissive. I left the interaction feeling confused and uncomfortable. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that the office can improve communication and provide clearer, more respectful guidance to patients, especially when it comes to insurance and payment options. First impressions matter, and front desk interactions set the tone for the entire patient experience.
I’m writing this review as documentation that I’ve tried multiple times to cancel an appointment. The office is open but calls go an Answering Service , and they refuse to take a message for office to return my call…
I’m disappointed to leave a 1-star review, especially because my previous visit to this office was great—the help desk and intake staff were kind, and my last doctor was excellent. However, my recent appointment with Dr. George Lovett was extremely disappointing and honestly quite shocking. From the moment he entered the room, the experience felt rushed and impersonal. He didn’t introduce himself, and his tone was abrupt and dismissive. One of the first things he said was, “Where is the mole located?”—with no greeting or context. The entire appointment lasted maybe three minutes, during which he mostly talked at me, asking only yes-or-no questions and not allowing for much conversation or clarification. I later noticed his name and photo on a poster at the front desk, which was the first time I knew who he even was. If I had known in advance, I would have looked up his reviews—his low rating, unfortunately, aligns with my experience. My advice: always ask which doctor you’ll be seeing ahead of time so you can do your research. I’ll be scheduling my next dermatology appointment elsewhere, with a different provider.
Absolutely disgraceful experience. This is, without a doubt, the worst medical office I’ve ever encountered. The front desk staff is not just unprofessional, they’re downright rude. One receptionist actually raised her voice at me for simply requesting my medical records. Her excuse was that she was “by herself and overwhelmed.” That’s unacceptable. Patients shouldn’t be punished for the clinic’s inability to staff properly. I was six minutes late to one appointment because I had a C-section just six days earlier and struggled to find parking. The lot was full, and walking wasn’t easy, yet the staff showed zero empathy and canceled my appointment without hesitation. No grace, no basic human decency. I’ve requested my medical records multiple times, left messages, and no one has ever bothered to call me back. When I finally spoke up about the poor communication, they were unbelievably rude, dismissive, and defensive. Months later, I still don’t have my records. To top it all off, they constantly rescheduled my appointments, but hold patients to a strict 6-minute policy. The double standard is laughable. There’s also no communication between providers, so if you see multiple practitioners, expect chaos. The doctor was fine, but this clinic is run so poorly, it completely overshadows everything else. It’s disorganized, insensitive, and careless. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else and save yourself the stress and wasted time.
Clean office, friendly staff, knowledgeable providers!
I’ve had five visits with this office since Dec 2024. I initially went based on the high ratings. However, the office has since continued to turnover staff quite frequently, resulting in an incohesive and disappointing patient experience.
When Camille Roberts was there she and the whole office were great and highly efficient. Then suddenly she disappeared at the end of 2024 and nobody would say where she went or why. The office has the same phone number, but everyone is different now. And it is the most disorganized place I’ve ever experienced. Multiple calls are needed to get anything done. Don’t get frustrated, try another practice. I did.
They were very professional and friendly 👏

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
