I waited months to see her after another doctor sent my biopsy to her for pathology. Dr. Goldbergs pathology report diagnosed me with a rare, painful and disfiguring disease. Original doctor said that my clinical presentation and Dr. Goldbergs pathology report did not match and that she could not ethically treat me for a disease that she didnt think I had. She called Dr. Goldberg who stood by her findings and told me to go see Dr. Goldberg. After the long wait when I saw Dr. Goldberg she said that she agreed that I did not have this disease. Imagine thinking you had a horrible disease and have to wait all that time to find out by Dr. Goldberg that she didnt stand by her pathology report. She offered no treatment or different diagnosis and told me shes see me in 6 months. During that time my condition worsened and I called to try to get in earlier and was told no. At that 6 month appointment she dismisserd my concerns, and told me to basically deal with it. She took 2 more biopsys that day. When she called with the results she said that she was surprised and that the results from the 2 sites were completely reversed from what she expected. Told me that it was possible that that the samples were swapped but I dont think so and then said lets go with these. 3 biospys and no diagnosis and no treatment plan. She wants to take a wait and see approach and that shed see me in 3 months. Unacceptable. Run. Dont walk, run and find a competent medical professional who will actually offer recommendations and treatment for your health concern.
shes the head honcho on hair loss
Dr Goldberg has great side manner and amazing knowledgeshe is not a therapisthair loss can be depressing but ppl need to see a therapist for emotional issues not a dermatologistshe took every test for me and took more time with me than any of the other 6 dermatologists i went to previously for hair loss
Waited a whole year to see her because she was highly recommended. Bedside manner is awful. Immediately told me IUD was not the problem and didn’t think my problem was grave. I pushed for a biopsy which she didn’t think it would reveal anything. Her assistant called three weeks later with a diagnosis of androgenic alopecia. Did not offer options nor follow up.
Terrible. Lax on refill, have run out of blood pressure med, although I was assured it would be taken care of.Zero stars
I have been seeing Dr. Goldberg for many years now. She was the first dermatologist to diagnose my problem and provided me the correct medicine to help me. She changes up my dose to ween me off certain medicines. Without her expertise, I feel Id still be looking for help.
Long wait time almost 3 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No bedside manner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long unexplained wait time. 1 and 1/2 hours. Quick rushed visit. (matter of fact attitude Re: disease) Kind but not very caring.
Dr. Goldberg is a capable and smart physician. Problem is, she is rigid, certain about what she knows, and not particularly interested in learning about what she does not yet know. I waited months for an appointment with her, then found to my dismay she was only willing to prescribe heavy antibiotics and drugs for my medical conditions even when there was plenty of medical evidence that the drugs had already caused toxic side effects in my immune system. She was not interested in hearing about that, saying she prescribed the drugs routinely, to many patients, with no problem. She had no alternative or milder treatments to offer for my chronic but not life threatening conditions. I have managed to cure myself, since that visit, largely through simple herbal remedies and lotions that she should have known about, and which I found out about by reading other peoples advice and suggestions on the internet! Dr. Goldberg would have had me on toxic drugs for several months instead, with immunecompromising sideeffects. When a doctors mind is closed to anecdotal evidence, and the person quick to prescribe immunecompromising drugs and antibiotics, it violates the basic Hippocratic injunction to first do no harm.
