I have been a patient of Dr. Sterns for many years. He also treated my Husband who had complex Cardiac Issues and multiple other family members. He is very dedicated to Cardiology and his Patients. We were blessed to have my Husband for many years with a good Quality of Life despite severe Cardiac Disease. I personally am very sensitive to medications and he has always listened and adjusted my medications cautiously. He always has showed Respect, Understanding and provided Support during the sometimes difficult paths taken to maintain cardiac wellness. Thank you Dr. Stern for your consistent high quality of care and expertise in your chosen Specialty. Despite the overwhelming complexity and barriers associated within Healthcare, I have always had Peace that the right treatment plan and skill in procedure would ALWAYS be a guarantee to Me and My Family. Thank You.
I’ve been to him 3 times. I have always been treated as though I was worth nothing. But the last time was awful. I’ve had heart palpitations for 20 years. This last time he put me on a 30 day monitor. I had multiple palpitations. When I went for my follow up he told me that they are nothing and it shows nothing on the monitor. Nothing doesn’t make your heart skip beats and make you light headed. (I also have a family history or Afib) When I was asking him questions about a stress test, he yelled, “WHY WOULD YOU NEED A STRESS TEST? YOURE A 39 YEAR OLD WOMAN. YOU WANT A STRESS TEST, FINE, I’LL GET YOU A STRESS TEST!” Then he says, “if they skipped beats are bothering you and making you that paranoid then take this bata blocker. “ He handed me the prescription and told me to go to check out. What a jerk. I’ve never had a doctor talk to me like that. And not to mention he hadn’t even read my report before I got there. This guy is a quack. I’m reporting him.
I first went to Dr. Mark Stern for my annual physical. I was quite impressed with the way he treated me. Dr. Mark Stern will always be my primary care physician. Also the staff and reception people could be more helpful. they are excellent.
Outstanding physician. Saved my life and has added quality treatment since my initial contact with him.
theyre remodeling the office which explains part of the wait I have seen him twice now and while he is not the most fun guy , he is straight forward in his discussions , he will be performing a couple of procedures on me in the next couple of months , and his manner to me is professional & straight forward which builds confidence in him. and his socks tell you what that shows me he does have a sense of humor and a good outlook on life.
Dr. Stern may be a good heart doctor, but if he only knew how he comes across to the everyday person. he might think twice about his manner with his patients. I had to wait an hour to see him for the first and again the second consult is my time not worth anything?? His manner and I am God attitude really turns people off. Instead of ever saying one thing nice about the five pounds Ive lost in 7 weeks and the fact Ive joined a gym went right over his headnot an encourageing word. This man needed to retire 10 years ago! AND PLEASE LOSE THE SOX!!!
