Brian J. Sullivan's Online Review Report Card

Worse provider ever....had spine surgery and he left a hole in my back that went down to the spine. Wound. Are was even afraid to touch it.....i never got to see Brian Sullivan after my surgery.....He would not see me nor would he do his post op for me.....I would not send a vicious dog to him.....

Appointment staff hung up on me for asking for time to write the information down that she was speaking so fast. When i called back she denied hanging up on me and was rude. I asked to speak with a manager and was given voice mail.Turns out she had not bothered to properly enter any of my infomation and i had to repeat it to the next person. Itried to explain to person 2 what happened, she did not seem to care. I told her i would still likecto speak with the manager she said she would be back after 3. The manager claimed her staff had never had issues and the person denied hanging.up. then she said i was not their kind of patient and i should go elsewhere, denying a patient care because of her rude staff! No compassion or empathy for a scared patient facing 2 spine surgeries trying to make an informed decision about my care. I have to wonder if the doctors there are the same or do they know how their front end staff behave toward their prospective patients?

Dr . Sullivan and his entire staff are all very professional , informative, caring , and compassionate. I couldn't have received better care anywhere and I personally would recommend them to everyone. I would like to take this moment to thank each and everyone from the front desk check-in for pre -op appt at their office to check -out after my back surgery at their surgical center for a job well done. Went too this office too try and get help did not see this Dr only nurse practitioner had no tests ordered by her and was told too go too John Hopkins but would not help me become a patient there with a recommendation too be seen waste of my time very uncaring long wait time office manager was rude you can do much better with many other Drs offices in the DC area as I eventually did

I went to see Dr Sullivan and was seen by PA Kevin Slayton who was very smart and full of knowledge he referred me to Dr Rhodes who gave me a nerve block for my pinched nerve on L3 it was scary but it did help I loved his staff and they were all very kind and I will go back. Thank you for taking good care of me

Dr. Sullivan preformed 3 disc replaced and fused in my upper spine, 15 years ago. Of course, I listened to the instructions for after care and followed them to the letter. I have had no problems with my neck in 15 years!!! I was originally told that without the surgery, I would not be walking in a years time. As a single mother, this was very frightening. Dr. Sullivan, was warm, wonderful and informative. He put me at ease and made it sound less threatening. The surgery went off without a single problem and I am here today to tell you that I have recommended him to many friends and family over the years. I owe him my life, thank you Dr. from the bottom of my heart:)

I had a discectomy about 5 years ago with Sullivan, since I have had to have two more surgeries and I am still in pain. Not only would he not return my calls after surgery but I could not get any information from him. Terrible!!

Dr. Sullivan is courteous, kind, and a great surgeon. My cervical fusion went very well. Every option was explained in detail. His assistant Kelci is beyond exceptional....responsive and so helpful. Highly recommend this office, and I have referred many family/friends

Dr. Sullivan has been one of the most responsive and caring physicans I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Recently he had staff contact me directly when the company's phone system was not working properly. Years ago he helped my daughter during his lunch time. No only was his diagnosis perfect, but his kindness and humor were beyond any expectations. He is not only a stellar doctor, but a lovely human being.

Dr. Brian Sullivan is a genius! In Jan of 2017, I underwent a lumbar fusion (S1, L5, L4) with Dr. Sullivan. Due to a water skiing accident lumbar trauma in 1980, deterioration , and aging, I was unable to walk without pain/difficulty in 2016. I am 76 years old. Because of his expertise and the excellent attention of his staff, I am walking great and suffering no pain. Expect not to see Dr. Sullivan except upon initial interview and before surgery. He will not prove to be your best buddy, but he will prove to be your best surgeon. His surgery, office and medical support are all 5-star. Thanks to Dr. Sullivan, Wendy Rikers, Kerrie Sullivan, and awesome staff.
