Very kind and professional staff

I am posting this 2 and a half years after the procedure. Dr. King had no empathy or compassion for my chronic bladder pain that resulted from a routine procedure by Doctor Epstein. Without going into detail about my procedure Dr. King insisted my pain would subside within 2 weeks after taking the prescribed antibiotics which was not typical at all to take after the procedure. I experienced stabbing sharpness and cramps in my stomach whenever I moved around. I stoped the antibiotics and saw Dr. King for a follow up. He bluntly sated "I know you are shaking for a drink, but you need to continue the antibiotics I prescribed". He made a generalization based on my honest filling out of the patient intake forms. I left crying and pleading to the staff to help me get with a doctor that took me seriously. No one would and I left in pain, to endure an agonizing 2 year journey of chronic bladder pain, multiple urologist visits, tests, medications that made it worse and no answers or help. I found on amazon an over the counter drug that numbs the uretha. It stopped my pain after a couple days. Pain comes back occasionally but I can work and live a quality life again.

Dr. King was a true professional in his interaction with me. He asked for all the details, explained the options and procedure to help, and treated me extrmely well. I have to say that a couple of the negative reviews on here concerned me at first before I met Dr. King, but I have to say those negative reviews in no way reflect the treatment I received. He was courteous, pleasant and professional. Despite my discomfort with the issue I had and the uncomfortable procedure, what he did plainly worked! It was several stages, but each time he had me feeling better and better. Now the issue is gone. Frankly I was extremely impressed with Dr. King's knowledge and his approach. He did a superb job and helped remedy my issue very well. I would definitely suggest this provider.

HE WAS RUDE

My husband had a problem keeping food down. All appropriate tests were given by King with no result for bout 2 years. Suggested he do alphagal test(tick bite results in can't eat red meat) and he would not give test. Said not his dept. See primary care which he did and that's the problem. After wasting 2 to 3 years on King. And test stress.

I was in the hospital for 31 days and almost died because he didn't listen to me. He thinks he has all the answers.

The billing office, one of the receptionist, and the Dr are all RUDE. I called tui get help with a bill and she cut me off twice not allowing me to talk. The dr himself was short with me and told me that my problem was I was over weight. I lost 30lbs and still have the SAME ISSUES. He rushes through the visits and I want someone that will take the time to listen to the patient and have better bed side manners. People come to you for help not to br pushed away.

Dr Charles King has been my Gastro Doc for 17 years and I consider him a top notch expert. He's very cordial and listens to my concerns. Dr. King's worked with me over the years to control/eliminate all kinds of problems from experiencing an ulcer, having GERD, external hemorrhoids, bleeding, etc. I highly recommend him.
