AWSOME experience. Attentive , took time to answer all questions, no problems no nausea or pain post surgery

I came in for knee surgery and I was very nervous about having the surgery. The staff was so very patient and understanding that it made my preparation for the surgery so much easier. The nurses went over the procedures and confirmed the questions I had answered on the registration form. The anesthesiologist went over the questions again and confirmed what I was having done and explained what he would be doing. Dr Shaw came in and confirmed which knee we were working on and marked my left knee. They were all so very nice, so comforting, so thorough with their procedures that I was feeling much more comfortable when they wheeled me into the operating room. They should all be commended for their work...they are doing a really wonderful job!

This was my second time there. Very happy with how professional everyone was each time. Would highly recommend this facility.

Dr. Shaw gave me my life back after performing my first knee replacement twelve years ago. There was no doubt in my mind when I needed my other one done two years ago. I still enjoy playing tennis twice every week. Dr. Shaw patiently worked with me with nonsurgical options right until I was ready to get it done. Thank you Dr. Shaw!!!

Great Surgeon, very skilled, my Rotator cuff repair surgery was very successful. Dr. Shaw is caring, very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him.

I am in recovery from torn meniscus surgery on my right knee. I have no complaints about the doctor and his staff. I read the reviews here and my experience so far has been good. I will update this should I find different but at this time I would recommend Dr. Shaw and his staff.

A truly caring man! He made sure I got smoothly through the recovery for my torn achilles, just as he had done for my ACL seven years ago! His surgical scheduler made sure I had all the right medical tests before the surgery, and his billing office made it seamless with my insurance. My appointments at the Westfield Orthopedic Group are punctual, professional and personal! Dr. Shaw has always taken the time to explain nonsurgery options. For years, he has treated me like a partner in making decisions. When I feel aches and pains, I know who to call!!!

Rude staff, ungodly waiting room time, incorrect diagnosis, trying to charge for appliances I did not need and which were not warranted for the condition I was misdiagnosed for. The practice is a sham. And to top it off they overcharged my insurance carrier, had the audacity to overbill me for the difference in their charges versus what they agreed to accept. AND I had to go to another doctor for a correct diagnosis. They told me it was my foot when the issue was with my ANKLE. Close but not the same part. Had the doctor spent any time with me perhaps he might have realized it. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. DO NOT GO, save yourself from the incompetence.

Dr. Shaw is a very knowledgable doctor who pinpoints the issues and deals with them swiftly and accurately. I found him to be very personable in the short amount of time he spends with you. He follows up with personal calls checking to see if the treatment is helping. I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering from pain. He is very professional and pleasant to deal with. His staff and the office are also very friendly and professional!

I had the fortunate pleasure (or misfortune necessity) of meeting Dr. Shaw after I injuring my foot in an accident. Upon arriving at Dr. Shaw's practice I was greeted by a very professional and efficient staff. Having not seen Dr. Shaw, previously, his staff made the initial process run very smoothly. Upon finishing my paperwork I was seen by Dr. Shaw in the most timely fashion. After a consultation and some xrays, he attended to my severly broken foot for the next 8-10 weeks, always making himself available, via phone and email. He always returned calls and emails promptly and had the patience to answer all of my questions (warranted or not). I would highly recommend Dr. Shaw to anybody in need of an orthopedic surgeon. P.S. I have had to utilize his services for my son as well, with a broken finger. He is equally as skilled with children and his bed side manner is pretty good as well!!!!
