List of Ilana Helene Cohen's Reviews
Dr Cohen is a calm, quiet, no stress demeanor! I love how she looks at bloodwork and as often AS NEEDED will do ultrasound on my thyroid.... I've never had any problems!!!
I see Dr. Cohen consistently for a rare thyroid cancer and enjoy seeing her each time. She takes the time to answer all my questions and explain everything that I ask for clarification on.
Awful. Did not do what I confirmed 3 times the needed to be done and that three doctors told me to get done. Not helpful total waste of time. Totally unaware and unresponsive to the patients needs. Office management. Not competent.
Dr. Cohen was prompt, thorough, and answered questions clearly and concisely.
Not good. Very poor all round. Making immediate change in endo to practice elsewhere in Annapolis.
Stay away from these doctors. Everything everyone wrote about having a terrible experience with the wait, the staff, getting prescriptions refilled and Dr. Lewandowski is true. All bad. And she is the worst doctor i have encountered. Stay away.
Since I have had diabetes and have seen Dr Lewandowski she is extremely nice and listens to all questions and concerns I might have. We work as a team working on accomplishing my goals towards keeping my sugar level low. She also makes sure I am feeling okay and makes appropriate follow up visits as I need them. She always says if I need her in between visits to call the office and so we will work on it together.
There is a problem with the management of requests for prescription refills. There also seems to be a push for excessive office visits. Phone calls are NOT returned and the staff seems unconcerned about complaints about the long turn-around time for refills. (Not my department; not my problem).
If she worked at a free clinic then making the effort to see her might be worth it, but actually having to schedule an appointment and pay for her services is not. She's not very bright and very one-dimensional for a doctor After meeting with her a few times you will see that she just isn't cut out for clinical work with patients or practicing medicine in general. There are good doctors and bad doctors where ever you go, she's just another bad one. I'd recommend you try someone else.
After three and a half years I have decided to leave this practice. From the Office Manager's unprofessional attitude and inability to make a reasonable decision to let a long time patient continue with an appointment when her purse was stolen that day making a copay an impossibility to the lack of compassion of the rest of the staff, I would not recommend this practice.Dr. Lewandowski was not able to differentiate between a skin cyst and an enlarged lymph node. While they did accurately diagnose my stage two cancer, the head nurse could not understand why that diagnosis would reduce a 27 year old to tears. "If you had to get cancer, this is the one to get." Who says that? No thank you, I am done dealing with this group.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
