List of Jennifer L Gamber's Reviews
This is a modern doctor. and what I mean by this is one who clearly is dictated to by the insurance companies. She spent 600 seconds with us, asked very few questions, glanced at her PA disapprovingly as if we should ask no questions. This is a doctor I would definitely avoid. She forgot why was she went to medical school. I’ll bet she’s pretty good at Botox, however.
Not helpful, not even very nice.
As a new patient, I was shuffled like an assembly line widget. Too many forms with repetitive questions. How many times do you need to fill out name and insurance info when the first thing they do is copy your ID’s? I was back in the room before completed my medical history form despite arriving early, and the Dr. never looked at it or asked what I filled out. She left the room in such a hurry that I wasn’t sure I was to leave or what to do next. Absolutely no recommendations were given. Zero bonding. Go elsewhere. I will. Added note: Well, it’s been two weeks since the office posted that they would contact me immediately about my visit and posting. Not sure why they would say that when no one has contacted me. Sounds good but it didn’t happen. Hmm.
This person should not be a doctor. She has absolutely no concern for the patient, no time for the patient and no bedside manner. I don't know what her problem is but I will absolutely never go to her again. This practice has gone downhill. I have been going to this group of doctors of 25 years and in the last 2-3 years I have had the worst experiences.
I should have read the reviews. I don’t know why you bother filling out all the medical history forms, when it sat on my chair and she never looked or asked about it. I have never been to any medical appointment where I felt so rushed. I asked questions but got no responses. There was no effort to get to know me as a new patient (or person) and she had no recommendations about anything. When she and the medical assistant left the room, I sat in there wondering what happened and if I was to leave. I hope her exam was better than the review of my documents and her people skills. I wouldn’t know.
I have seen Dr. Gamber several times over the years. She has never had a personable or approachable demeanor but I stayed with her because I thought she was thorough. My, how times have changed. She came into the room, looked at the four spots I was concerned about and quickly left. I am 65 and I would think she would have some advice, e.g., be careful about the sun, or maybe ask me if I have any questions. On the up side, I did not need to wait to be seen, but I would rather wait two hours than to be dismissed and left to feel invisible. I am not exaggerating when I say she was in the office with me for 60 seconds ( it was probably closer to 30 seconds). Unbelievable!
Dr. Gamber is very professional & found a small, small melanoma for which I’m forever grateful. However, my daughter was told she would be called if her bx was positive for infection; never called; her infection got bad & she will probably be left w/a bad scar.
So Dr Gamber decided to do allergies patch testing , which I had 3 appointments in one 1 week. I paid 1 copay and was about to pay the other 2 but Dr Gamber and the front desk both told me no I only have to pay 1 copay. But then I get a bill for 2 copays, so I call the billing office and they put a message into the office manager Michelle/Michele (however she spells her name), then the billing offices calls me back and now say I have to pay 1 of the 2. So I'm trying to figure out why was I informed by the doctor and the front desk that I only had to pay 1 copay, but between the office manager and billing I need to pay another copay. But she is an amazing doctor , not do I see her , I even refer patients to her

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
