List of Kent Krejci's Reviews
Great Doctor. Listens and makes sure you feel heard. I had to lose a kidney a few years ago and let's face it, hearing that is scary. Dr. Krejci made the toughest part of the experience pronouncing his name. I felt calm and reassured I was in the right hands and that all would be ok . Always calls me personally to let me know when tests come back. Simply a great doc.
Although extremely competent, at first Dr. Krejci may seem to be a bit too "matter-of-fact." This soon changed and I find Dr. Krejci very personable, most pleasant, and warm. He cares about his patient. I saw him for what turned out to be bladder (not kidney) stones. He explained thoroughly what they were, how they form, consequences of not removing them and details of the procedure to fix the problem. He accurately advised that I should have the TURP done at the same time because of the size of my enlarged prostate. I did not take his advice - a big mistake. Within days after the successful removal of the bladder stones I was in extreme discomfort - realizing that I wasn't happy about having a catheter for any length of time, he squeezed me into his schedule so that within a few days he performed the TURP. I now feel absolutely GREAT. I like Dr. Krejci very much and am happy to recommend him.
See Dr. Krejci every 6 months since having right kidney removed Oct. 2018 due to cancer; a year later after tests showed kidney cancer cells found in my lungs, he facilitated my changing Oncologists to Dr. Taksey, the best decision I could have made. He is by far the easiest person to talk to I have ever met in my life, either professionally (ex-Navy, ex-NSA) or personally. Most highly recommend to anyone requiring his services.
I don’t ever leave reviews but I felt doing this was a must. I went to Dr. Krejci with chronic symptoms of UTI, sexual issues and consistently worsening pain in my urinary region and he didn’t listen to my issues at all. He immediately thought he knew what was wrong with me and assumed my issues were that I drank too much water! Really? When you have chronic UTI’s water consumption is very important yet he tells me to have only two glasses a day and totally disregarded that there is blood in my urine. I saw another specialist two days later and I’m thankful that I did because I’d be in a bad place right now if I didn’t get a second opinion. Do not use this doctor, he is not to be trusted with your health! To end on a positive note, the rest of the staff at the Odenton office was pretty awesome! Just avoid Dr. Krejci at all costs.
He performed a TURP on me. His pre-surgery explanation was factual and straight-forward. The TURP went well but I grew a little post-op scar tissue and he removed that with a very quick second procedure. All is well now and my urinary tract is fully functional! No bladder leakage, no impotence, no erectile disfunction and no retrograde ejaculations (any or all of which can happen if the surgeon isn't extremely careful). Dr. K is great!
This "doctor" has no empathy for his patients. My first ever cystoscopy went from being a "5 to 10 minute procedure" when he described it to me at our first meeting in his office, to a "5 minute procedure" when I spoke to a nurse a few days later about my fears, to a "2 minute procedure" at the end of the same conversation. (She also told me, "A normal man can handle it.") In reality it was 45 SECONDS! If he'd been more careful (read "gentle") maybe we could've had a 2 minute procedure without any (or at least as much) pain. But no, it was one of the most painful experiences of my life. I went to see him to find out why I had blood in my urine. When he discovered my bladder was clear, he lost interest. Where's the blood coming from? "Probably the prostate." The he fixated on some sclerosis a CT scan found on my right ilium. (That's a bone, people, and not at all related to urology.) When I asked him what my next steps were towards finding out why there's blood coming from my prostate, there weren't any. Then he went back to the sclerosis. I walked out on him.
Puts you at ease right away. EXCELLENT DOCTOR.
This doctor is horrible. He had several tests run. When I questions why he was running tests that had been run in the previous week he said because I am the doctor and I know better. Then when we went to sit down to talk he wanted to treat my UTI. I was there for kidney stones. When I challenged what he was doing her told me to get out of his office and find another doctor.

Took me successfully through a very stubborn case of bladder cancer. The main thing is he persisted on a very stubborn case that one senior doctor had decided was too hard and complex for him and produced an excellent results. In this type of thing it is ultimately sucess is hat trick he only thing that counts.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
