Lori Sweitzer's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Sweitzer is simply the BEST! Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and has all the time you need. You walk away from your visit feeling like you are under the care of a top notch physician who genuinely cares about your well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Sweitzer.

The person who talked about the NP making her cry, and how she responded to that- is 100% believable. I left a review on the health grades site, but that’s not there anymore. This office billed my insurance for a point of service visit, even though I scheduled it as an annual well-visit. When I called, they informed me I didn’t get a Pap smear, which I put my feet into stirrups because I thought I was getting a pap. The NP was extremely patronizing. I have good friends who are doctors and scientists and studied science myself and was talked to as if I was promoting anti-vax conspiracy theories because I wasn’t open to taking Lupron or Orilissa, for bone density issues which she told me weren’t concerns with monitoring (which the orilissa website *itself* disagrees with). I do not recommend this practice and think it is very odd that there is no “Capital Women’s Care- Annapolis” and instead it’s just individual practitioner’s names considering it’s 2023. Especially after talking to so many women who have had bad experiences at Capital Women’s Care. The lack of site has kept me from leaving a review under Lori’s name because that feels wrong considering I had experience with her NP. I wonder how many reviews haven’t been left for that same reason.

I’ve been a patient here over the last 2-3 years. I was originally seeing Stephanie as my provider - she was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, she left the practice and I did not have a good experience after. The other nurse practitioner was rude and said that my diagnosis from Stephanie was wrong (I finally felt like I was getting answers with Stephanie and moving in the right direction). The new practitioner told me that Stephanie’s diagnosis was incorrect and I was fine but still needed to get an ultrasound to check cysts even though I didn’t have the previous diagnosis given by Stephanie. The customer service of staff is awful as well. The front desk is usually nice but records release and the office manager have been zero help. I have since gotten a new doctor who agreed with Stephanie’s diagnosis so I would just beware of this practice and when in doubt, always get a second opinion. The nurse practitioner even made me cry and stated “I don’t know why people keep crying in my room” that should tell you enough.

The absolute best. I wouldn't trust anyone else more. The negative reviews infuriate me because they do not accurately reflect this office. I've been a patient for 10 years, delivered two babies with this office and even underwent surgery under the care of Dr. Sweitzer. I have always placed my trust in her, and I always will.

Horrible office rescheduled my surgery multiple times and this was over a span of a few months and they expected me to be grateful that they Kept doing this and because I said this was unfair to me that I’m constantly being rescheduled and this is disrupting my life and was considering legal action. They dropped me as a patient, claiming I was making threats and having misconduct in their office. Fessional would not recommend even to my worst enemy! I literally was fighting for a simple procedure since June.

On time and very knowledgeable! Very friendly and put me at ease which is a great quality in a doctor that some just don’t have!

Dr. Sweitzer is extremely professional. I am made to feel comfortable and my concerns important during time spent with her. All concerns are heard and addressed appropriately. Would highly recommend Dr Sweitzer for any ob/gyn needs!
