woke up with minor sore throat...to be expected. Turned in to very have very painful throat and loose skin flap such that I couldn't eat anything for four days. On fifth day am finally able to sip cool liquids and nibble at some toast. Worst experience ever and I have been intubated before without such deep and prolonged pain. Hope I never get him again!
