She is the worst Dr. doesn’t give a crap about you. Thinks she knows it all. But to be honest she needs to go get Educated more just know good. Would not ever recommend her

I was 37 and had stage 3C colon cancer with a 2 week old newborn baby in 2009. Dr. Velamati found my cancer 10.5 years ago in AAMC when I gave birth to my son. I have continued under her care since then and I’ve remained colon cancer free. She is wonderful, very thorough, energetic, passionate about her job, highly educated, tenderly compassionate & always smiles. You can’t help but love her!! Her staff and those she works with are pretty great too!

I went to see this Dr and as first time seeing her I was disappointed that she came in and talked to me about my problem I had been having for a long time. Then she said one thing to do and out she went. I was the only patient there at the time so why the rush??

Dr. Velamati is straight to the point and very thorough. She thoroughly responds to questions and is quite professional and friendly. I like that she was not afraid to smile. She was honest with me and compassionate. I appreciate that as well. It is difficult to get an appointment and the wait to get in ws long, which are my only concerns. Her staff are all quite friendly and easy going. For this type of practice that is a good thing. I highly recommend Dr. Velamati to anyone!
