Incredibly unprofessional experience with this provider. Hung up on multiple times while trying to schedule a routine appointment. Will be finding another office with a competent receptionist.

This review doesn’t reflect on Dr Jensen himself but I just attempted to make an appointment for my client (I am a nurse). The person who answered the phone first hung up on me after I stated where I worked (which is at an organization that works with some people who experience homelessness - though that is not all of our clients) and then when I called back she was very rude and told me homeless people don’t have insurance so they wouldn’t be able to see my client instead of asking me if they had insurance. In the event she reads this I hope she learns that many many many people who are experiencing homelessness do have health insurance because they need and deserve healthcare too. This is my job and I have talked to a lot of overworked and stressed people on the phone and I get it - we aren’t always our best healthcare is a really hard job. But this was not cool.

Absolutely awful experience. The doctor himself is fine, though a bit behind the times (no cell phones allowed in the office, the decor is from perhaps 1963, but it's charming). Billing was near impossible. Spent months trying to get my eye exam paid for by my insurance, but the office was uncommunicative and downright rude. The receptionist mocked my career, claimed she "didn't have time" to confirm my insurance with the insurance company, and hung up on me mid-sentence. Save yourself the trouble and go to LensCrafters.

Dr. Jensen is easy to work with, very thorough, and the staff is amazing. I can't imagine trusting anyone else!

Last visited in 2018, will return in 2020. I like Dr. Jensen a lot. He takes the right amount of time with me, gets my eyeglass prescription correct, and is a pleasant conversationalist.

We have been going to Doctor Jensen for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. He doesn't keep you waiting, he has no technicians and does everything himself, he is very thorough, and takes time with you. He has a fun personality as well.

I agree with the reviewer who said to pay no attention to the ageists. He is wonderful!!!

Dr. Jensen is the best! The staff is so friendly. He is very witty and personable. I don't ever want to see him retire!

Dr Jensen is about as far from grouchy as is possible. He is a wonderful doctor and my husband and I look forward to our appointments. I have been going to Dr Jensen for over 20 years, and I am even now driving into Baltimore to see him now that he no longer comes to Annapolis. That is a very big deal for me - I don't drive into Baltimore to see very many people!
