Dr. Cogan cared for me in October/November of 2019 after an abdominal abscess in a tricky area following an appendectomy had me needing an interventional radiologist that was skilled in advanced placement (I originally sought care in Central, PA and they didn't feel comfortable performing the procedure). Cogan was funny and kind and answered any questions I had always. I was grateful for his care and he clearly did a good job as I'm still fixed up. Thanks, Dr. Cogan!
Dr Bradley Crogan, radiologist at Mercy Medical Center took my loved one into surgery with chief urologist Stanley Silber to remove a kidney & without any notification to family he embolized kidney which was a decision that made patient suffer. Dr. Crogan was unapologetic & said he needed to get home to his holiday dinner. Silber was to cowardly to even face patients family. Dr. Crogan staff seemed to only tolerate him. They had no respect for him. I agree. He is a bully & a coward. We refer to these docs as Dumb & Dumber!
He was real good with me, kept me informed every step of the way. That made me more at eased Thanks, Dr. Cogan
Dr. Cogan is up front which is I like and want about what he was going to do and as he was doing it. I will go back to him again for use!!!
Dr. Cogan and his team deserve more than 5 stars!
Overall experience was just excellent, even though it was at the very end of the day. Bedside manner, professionalism, attention, and competency was superb. Would refer Dr. Cogan in a heart beat.
I saw Dr. Cogan when I was a patient at Mercy Medical Center. I have to say that he is a very uncommon doctor - he took time with me, he explained things to me, he took time to follow up after my procedure, and he even spoke to me on the phone after I left Mercy when I had a question about my procedure. His whole staff was caring, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
