Brett Adam Levinson's Online Review Report Card

I wanted to see Dr. Levinson based on the recommendation of a friend. I wish I could rate him but this rating is about his office and not his care. Please be warned that if you require a referral, they will completely refuse to accept anything if it is not typed out on a computer. Now, my MCO does hand-written referrals and Dr. Levinson's office takes my insurance. I got a referral, and the office manager called and told me that they will not accept it because "anyone could have written this referral". As if people getting referrals to see eye doctors is some kind of major fraud issue. My referrals have been accepted at every major hospital system in the area, but I can't get in to see this doctor because my valid referral was denied. Very sad that I can't access healthcare services covered by my insurance due to a discriminatory office policy which denies care to medicaid patients.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Levinson (and his wonderful admin Sara!). Not only did he see me on an emergency basis, quickly diagnose and treat an extremely painful condition that has been bothering me for 5 years and eluded observation by many many urgent care and emergency physicians, and offer hope for relief in the future as well, he took the time to check in following my emergent appointment the next day, also outside of his office hours. It is so refreshing to encounter a medical professional who truly cares about his patients, with such evident expertise in and passion for his field. If you're experiencing eye pain or recurrent corneal abrasions like I was, run don't walk to Dr. Levinson's office - as he so kindly and accurately put it upon meeting me and my swollen, blood-shot eye, "help is on the way!" Thanks to Dr. Levinson and his staff I truly feel I have a new lease on life, as anyone who has experienced chronic eye pain knows is no exaggeration - I'll always be so grateful to have encountered this caring and highly competent practice!

No wait, explanations clearly stated, all expectations achieved

I was impressed by the sophistication of the many different machines used to diagnose my condition. Multiple staff members assisted me in most of the tests. They were pleasant and informative before, during and after the test. Dr Levinson had a wonderful approach to working with me as a patient. I was there for nearly 2 hours while he diagnosed my condition. I never felt rushed. He answered my questions. He and his staff did 2 short in-office procedures while I was there. They explained the procedures, ensured I was comfortable and efficiently completed the procedure. I had an excellent experience.

Dr. Levinson has kept my dry eye totally under control for several years. I no longer need constant drops and solutions. It helped me to sail through cataract surgery, problem free! Love the office staff and assistants too.

Nice people and nice service

Clean comfortable waiting area, and the staff are so friendly, and professional. I would diffinely recommend this office to anyone needing specialized eye care.
