List of Charles Park's Reviews
I have had hip pain and leg pain for 7 months. Hip xrays showed mild inflammation and no real reason for the hip pain. I was referred to a pain specialist who ordered some medication, physical therapy, and back imaging. Based on my MRI results.. I was given a referral to Dr.Park. Not only does he take the time to listen to you… he is an incredibly skilled surgeon.I had a lumbar fusion last week.. ...
My husband went to Dr. Parks complaining of pain in his hip. Dr. Parks recommended my husband have surgery for "posterior lumbar decompression with an interbody fusion and instrumented fusion with interbody cages from L4-S1." We got second opinion from head of another spine institute who told us there was absolutely nothing about his spine that needed surgery, that he had a normal healthy spine.
We were directed to a physiatrist who diagnosed and is treating him, non-surgically, for a muscle connected to his hip.
First of all the 2 Stars are for his Pre Surgery Kindness and me coming out alive. Beyond that it’s been a nightmare. My fusion was L3-5… He told me only what he wanted me to know. He kept crucial information from me. After two full rounds of PT I asked Dr Park, “ Why am I getting worse not better”? His answer, Because below the area of L5-S1 those bones are collapsing. Obviously I was in shock. My Primary Is shocked at the scars on my back. My husband counts Seven… My Primary Dr said it looks like I have Scoliosis now. I am in pain constantly, It’s been at least about four years. I will never trust another Surgeon!!! His reason for not telling me the full truth, he said “ I try to make the best decisions for my Patients.” I told him it wasn’t your decision to make, it was mine. I would have canceled the Surgery, had I been given all the information. Shame on you Dr. Charles Park I can’t even tie shoes, put on my own socks.. lead a normal life at 61. But you’re protected by these horrid surgeries… Lisa Arthur
Words cannot explain how much I appreciate Dr Park. I was in terrible terrible debilitating back pain when I first saw him. Walking with a Walker !!! The same day of surgery , I could feel a difference!! He was so patient caring loving and empathetic. I wish he could be my doctor for all my medical needs. Truly the best!!
Dr Park is truly compassionate and listens when you talk. He is a man of few words so be sure to use your time with him wisely. I’ve had four spine surgeries, he is truly a gifted surgeon. I wish I’d found him sooner. My lumbar and sciatic pain are gone and we are working on cervical. I haven’t felt this well in 20 years.
Doctor Parks is amazing when I had my surgery done you may not believe this I was walking that same day his prayer upon me worked HE IS THE BEST PATRICIA GLOVER
Dr. Charles Parks is an amazing doctor. He has wonderful bedside manners. He is Compassion about his patients...
Dr Park truly cares for his patients like they are family.
Dr. Park performed surgery on my elderly dad, who has dementia at Mercy Hospital to remove a very large benign tumor on his head. I am so impressed with Dr. Park. He did a fabulous job surgically and did an amazing job removing the tumor so he is, obviously, a very talented surgeon. His bedside manner is just as impressive. He is very personable and he was so very kind and respectful to my dad. He prayed with our family before he took my dad to surgery. He answered all our questions and working with him was a fabulous experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
