The young lady at the window to greet me was great. She was really polite and had a big ole smile. And of course Dr. Forthman was great. He explained to me what was going on with my hand then fixed me right up. I give Him and his staff a 10 star. And I’ve been there multiple times and all were great. It makes me feel good about going back. Kudos to the Doc and staff!

Dr. Forthman repaired my torn bicep in early October 2021. The surgery went very well and I had virtually no pain. While I am still recovering, my repaired bicep has barely limited me in my activity. I would highly recommend Dr.Forthman.

He did surgery on my 83 year old Mother. He was very understanding and sympathetic to her needs. She had to get 65 staples and 3 plates. He even called her when he was on vacation to check on her. Definitely would recommend!

DON’T TRUST DR. FORTHMAN— IF DO DO, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY SHARE MY HORRIFIC RESULTS OF A COMPLETELY NEGLIGENT REATTACHMENT OF THE FLEXOR TENDON IN MY LEFT HANDED RING FINGER SURGERY THAT WAS PERFORMED BY DR. FORTHMAN. SEPTEMBER 2021 MY FLEXOR TENDON IN THE RING FINGER OF MY LEFT HAND WAS CUT SO I WAS TOLD AT UNION MEMORIAL MED STAR HEALTH HOSPITAL TO CALL DR. FORTHMAN AT GREATER CHESAPEAKE THERE WAS NO RECOVERY BECAUSE DR. FORTHMAN USED NON-DISOLVING SUTURES THAT WERE WRONGLY USED TO ATTACH THE TENDON TO THE SKIN INSIDE OF MY FINGER THAT CAUSED THE TENDON AND SKIN TO GROW PERMANENTLY ATTACHED WHICH STOPS THE MOVEMENT OF THE TENDON FROM MY MIDDLE KNUCKLE TO THE KNUCKLE BELOW THE TIP OF MY FINGER AND I CANT CLOSE MY FINGER TIP. HE USED THE WRONG SUTURES- 2 WEEKS AFTER THE SURGERY THERE WAS A GREEN SPOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE REPAIRED CUT THAT HE SAID WAS A SCAB BUT IT WAS A NON DISSOLVING SUTURE-A NEW GREEN SPOT IS COMIG OUT. DDON’T TRUST DR. FORTHMAN!!!!!

I saw Jacen, the PA, because I could get in quicker to see him. Dr. Forthman did my elbow surgery a couple of years ago, so I went back for thumb pain. Jacen looked at it quickly, said it was trigger finger and gave me a cortisone shot. He had X-rays ordered of my shoulders for arm pain, said the X-rays were fine, didn’t know what was wrong arms. Dr Forthman is kind, compassionate, understanding and explains every step of procedure as he works. When he numbed my hand it was not as painful as I expected. Don't believe some of these reviews !! I would go to him again and highly recommend others to choose him!! And, actually PA Jacen is really nice and very good at what he does. He has given me 2 injections in past and they were effective for a long time. He always explains everything to me, also.
