I am sitting here crying because after 43 years of people looking at me and saying mean things to me about the way I look it took just 2 weeks for dr. Vander Kolk to make me feel better about myself. Being born with a birth defect can put a lot on your shoulders and I can't thank Dr. Vander Kolk and his team enough, he walked me through everything his bedside manner was a 100 stars and now I can have a pretty smile. Dr. Vander Kolk I love love love you and your team!!!! Nothing but happiness and 😃

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DR. VANDER KOLK! I have used him twice already!! I had my first procedure, breast augmentation, done two years ago and my recovery was smooth and with minimal pain. I recently had abdominoplasty done and my incision looks perfect! I belong to a WLS group and a lot of people have been sending me requests for his information! Not only is Dr. Vander Kolk an amazing professional, his office staff, especially Melissa are the best! I feel like family each time I call or visit! The staff at Mercy hospital also made my visit a memorable one by putting me at ease since this time around I could not have any visitors because of COVID. I am VERY pleased with my experience AND results!

I had a mini facelift performed by Doctor Vanderkolk a few years back and have regretted it ever since. He disfigured my jawline and one side drooped and he was unable to correct it. My dermatologist prescribed pain pills because there was irreversible nerve damage to both sides of my jaw. I would advise any African American female to be very cautious of having plastic surgery with this Doctor. Please please do your research . After I sent to him on two occasions to tell him the pain I was having, he dismissed me.

Dr. Vander Kolk is amazing!! I found him because He is highly recommended through multiple social media groups I've joined. I honestly found that he's professional, precise, and really good at what he does. I highly recommend him to all my friends, and I will say he's hands down one of the best.

I had a small cyst removed about 6 weeks ago and soon after the surgery there was a dark area surrounding the incision that has not faded away. Also there's still a few bumps which I wonder if they are the stitches that I believe are suppose to dissolve by now. He had to remove the stitches because the incision area was bleeding and cauterize some areas before stitching me up again. He's a nice man who answered my questions, but it does not look like he did an excellent work with my small surgery.

The other users comment sounds like he really cares to me. A Dr saying he doesnt have a good feeling about you having a 3rd surgery and turning down money is great.

Dr. Vander Kolk performed reconstructive fat transfer on my abdomen. He was not thorough and although he had agreed to do a 3rd procedure (the 2nd was an minimal amount of improvement at best) when I approached him when I had the time and money to do it he fired me as a patient. When I asked why he kept saying he "didn't have a good feeling" and hand-waved when I brought up how he was about to do it a few years ago. He wears a baby blue suit instead of a coat now. He doesn't care.

He used to care, or seemed to anyway, but he turned me away after having agreed to perform a 3rd treatment. Kept saying he didn't "have a good feeling" and when I asked him what changed since he agreed to do it he said "well, whatever."
