Pain/worry free vasectomy. He made it a breeze. Would recommend

Dr. Davis performed a vasectomy on me. Super easy, pain free. I was back on my feet after 2 days with no pain at all. Great guy, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Davis give me excellent care

I went through an outpatient procedure at Sparrow Hospital with Dr. Damon Davis as my surgeon. I was unable to make my initial post-op follow up appointment due inclement weather conditions. I had been experiencing a high-level of pain, since my surgery, and was experiencing difficulty with prescribed medication. I called the office the very next morning to re-schedule my appointment and asked to speak to the Dr. I did not receive a returned call from anyone that same day, rather a voice mail message was left on my home phone on Friday. By the time I returned home from work their office was closed. I called again the following Monday as I was still experiencing a lot of pain and had concerns regarding my medication. This time I spoke with a nurse. She took down my information, indicated that the Dr. was in the office that day, and that either she or the Dr. would call me back. I received no call. The level of non-responsiveness of this Dr. is UNACCEPTABLE! The lack of interest or any sense of urgency for a patient having complications more than 2 weeks after surgery is more than frustrating. I will be holding this Dr. personally responsible for any complications that arise from his lack of interest in my post-op care while I seek another urologist. I would not recommend Dr. Damon Davis to anyone.

Dr. Davis is a great doctor. He is thorough, thoughtful and very good at what he does. I have had kidney stones for years and he found a congenital defect for why they had formed. He fixed this and continued to help me work through helping them not form. Great knowledge and thoughtful treatment practices.

Dr. Davis did NOT fully explain the side effects associated with my procedure. I went in without any understanding as to how much pain I would be in. His office staff was incredibly UNhelpful when it came to contacting Dr. Davis after hours for my emergency-level pain. I had to call the hospital he is associated with and have them page him! When I had the procedure reversed and complained about the pain, he responded by saying most people don't have that much pain. I did my own research online to discover that pregnant women generally suffer significant amounts of pain after the procedure and it is NOT recommended unless it is a medical emergency. My case was not. EXTREMELY dissatisfied. Thankfully, Dr. Davis did break some office procedures in order to get the procedure reversed within 12 hours. Otherwise, I would have been in the ER!

Prostrate surgery ... everything went perfectly ... couldn't be more satisfied

Dr. Davis explained the my condition and the procedure he was going to perform. He was easy to ask questions to and asked if I had any questions. I did not feel rushed in his office.
