Needs to communicate more and if he’s too busy he needs to hire a nurse to give medical information not a medical assistant that could barley answer my questions because ima medical assistant myself . He’s a really nice guy but if you are high risk don’t go to him.

He seems like he knows what he's doing, but I have a medical condition that he says needs minor surgery, and I cannot get his office to call me back. This fall I tried for eight weeks--no call back until I convinced his office manager to chase him around the office. I continue to have symptoms, but the only way to get a response is to schedule an appointment and meet him face-to-face... I wonder if the reason I'm not a priority is that I'm an older woman and childless. Women who rate him highly seem to have children... I'll probably have the surgery, bur frankly, I'm scared that if there are complications or the surgery indicates the problem is worse (small chance of cancer), I'm left working with a doctor who doesn't really respond.

He was filling in for Dr. Hraky, and I was shocked by how rough and unprofessional he was. He didn’t introduce himself, explain what he was doing, and he was way more rough than necessary. He just made a couple of jokes which didn’t sit well with me. I’m used to Dr. Hraky who has very calm energy and explains everything in-depth and takes the time to make you feel comfortable because he truly cares. I was referred to him when I was 14 when my first GYN appt was horrific. He has been my GYN for 20 years delivered both of my children and now is my daughters GYN.

Dr. Stern was my OB/Gyn a little over 20 years ago when I had my daughter. He was with me during the 6+ years before while I struggled with infertility. While Dr. S was there when I delivered, but so was the pediatrician. Dr. S let the pediatrician deliver my daughter & he was so excited because he'd never delivered his own new baby patient before.

I was referred to Dr. Stern by my mother back in 06 when I was pregnant with my first son, he was the same doctor who delivered me and my brothers and sisters. I'm now having my 3rd baby and I'm super excited to have Stern right there with me every step of the way!!!
