Dr Strain is my PCP. He is knowledgeable but lacks bedside manners and can be really sarcastic and rude. Patience and empathy are even more critical nowadays than ever. A Dr. must listen to their patients concerns with curiosity and not judgement. This is key in providing quality care. If this goes on, I am moving to another health system.

I called for a medication refill, and Dr. Stain was the on-call Doctor. He promptly returned my call; however he spoke very rude and nasty to me. His bedside manner and customer service was terrible. This was my first encounter with a Doctor from Mercy that has ever displayed this type of character.

Dr. Strain has been my doctor for years and he is always professional, courteous, thorough and most of all always has time to listen, which is very important to patients. I also referred my mother to him and she loves him! I highly recommend Dr. Francis Strain.
